If you could please analyse my kundali and tell me whether I will be treading the path of sprituality or be guided by some enlightened soul and when. Rahu in your ascendant can give you some illusions in this regard. Goel: Yes...It is possible for one to go for spiritual path with materialistic engagements also.....One cannot just shun one's duty to his/ her family and restrict oneself to spirituality. Balancing the conflicting attitudes required for spirituality and material life may be difficult initially. But, if you consecrate all your actions in the name of God, and do your duties dispassionately to the best of your abilities, this is Karma Yogaa.....It will eventually lead you to liberation at the right time. I know it is easier to give sermons like these, but to put it in practice is really difficult. When you face such difficulties, seek assitance from Divine Grace. Probably the difficulties you face due to uncooperative and unempathetic family members, the stiffling responsibilities of family life, etc. will themselves prove equivalent to "tapasya". In the olden days, rishis did severe penance by engaging in difficult vows like standing on one leg, standing amidst fire on all directions, etc. But, this modern day existence itself is so stressful and troublesome, that if you are patient and humble in your disposition and take all that comes to you as a Gift from God, then this very existence will become a tapasya, and liberate you. I would say that we are all gifted souls because we are living in such a period that our very existence can become tapasya if we lead honest lives.....The insults that a honest person is put to by arrogant and corrupt individuals, the false theories and fake Gurus who dominate the societal scene, materialistic persons passing rude judgements on spiritual persons, etc. have all made mere ethical existence as a tapasya. Probably Shri. Goel you are doing tapasya without your knowledge. Philosophising apart, you can definitely allot at least half and hour each day for contemplation of the self or for meditation on God as per your temperament. This, in my opinion, is the real value of your existence as a human being. May Divine Grace guide you in your noble goal of attaining spiritual Bliss. Blessed be. Pandit. Juggling the duties of a house holder and that of a spiritual aspirant is indeed difficult. But to know that help is near and coming when you are at the worst always sustains us. To me it has always been true that whenever I have felt that things are beyond endurance and I am totally helpless- the direst of circumstances, help- I should say Divine Help has always come in the form of people,known , unknown, messages. This has always reinforced the belief that the ultimate surrender to the lotus feet of the Divine Mother will always lead us to her. There are of course moments when we are again anxious totally oblivious of the fact that we have already surrendered. We are but human.I have read somewhere that by doing so we are in effect carrying all our luggage on our head while travelling in train, comfortably.
