Namaste,

Western and Eastern Astrology:

JJTV [south Indian cable TV net works] during its course of its ‘News Hour’ it

used to flash few informative bulletins commemorating past Historical events /

glory. Today it had said that on this day at a far away past i.e., 5th March

1223 AD there appeared an eclipse in Syria, which is the earliest recorded known

eclipse, since a clay mould depicts this information, said to have been

excavated in that region. On my verification of facts of the ‘NEWS’ with the

assistance of J.Hora, I could not believe any appearance of eclipse on that day.

Could it be possible for any Astrologers in List, who are proficient in Western

Astrology throw some light on the matter as to what would be the thinking of the

then Western –Astrologers about eclipses in their opinion?
