Guest guest
OM Namasivaya. Dear Pandits, I am looking for information on Ghandarva Raja Homa Mantra. A weekly Tamil Magazine keeps referring to this Homa and Mantra as a remedy for men who are seeing delays in marriage. The name of the magazine is called Bala Jyotidam. It is published from Chennai. If you can any provide any information, I will appreciate it. Regards, Krish Santhanam Mail Bring photos to life! New PhotoMail makes sharing a breeze. Guest guest
Dear Shri. Santhanam: This is a homam on "Viswavasu" - the king of Gandharvaas.....He is one of the deities who are supposed to be the protectors of Virgins. Pooja to this Gandharva is offered even in normal marriages before the couple are allowed to consummate the marriage. It is believed that his clearance is required before a man can touch a virgin, or it may lead to the man incurring the wrath of the gandharva. Other homams that are more effective in improving marital prospects are "Swayamvara kalaa Parvathy Homam", "Kaamaadeva Homam", etc. Visiting shrines like "Nitya Kalyaana Perumaal" (Thiruvidanthai- near Mahabalipuram in ECR), Thirumanancheri, etc. will also help in removing obstacles to marriage. Taking special vows like "organizing Kalyaana Utsavam for Shri Venkataachalapathy at Tirupati", "performing Raadha Kalyaana Urchavam by arranging a chant of Govinda Ashtapathi", etc. will also be helpful. Arranging the recital of Shrima Sundara Kaandam of Shrimad Vaalmiiki Raamaayana is another tested remedy for improving marital prospects. You can do any of these that suit your taste and convenience. Blessed be. Pandit. R.DAKSHINAMOORTHI. In vedic astrology, Krish Santhanam <krishvedas06 wrote: > > OM Namasivaya. > > Dear Pandits, > > I am looking for information on Ghandarva Raja Homa Mantra.
