Guest guest
Dear Shri. David: The evil effects attributed to this combination refered in your mail as read in that book (whatever it is) happen only in the case of "Sakata Yoga" which happens when Moon and Jupiter are in 6, 8, or 12 th places with respect to each other. Even in this case, the presence of Moon in 12th place to Jupiter is not bad because, in this case, Jupiter will be in the 2nd place to Moon. For such natives, there will be obstacles and unforeseen disappointments in early life, which will all vanish once the native attains 30 years. Jupiter in the 2nd place from Moon will give the native a spiritual inclination, a good knowledge of scriptures and chants, and in the case of one practising astrology, bless that native with good "Vaak Siddhi". The presence of Moon and Jupiter in 6th/8th places with respect to each other, and the presence of Jupiter in 12th place to Moon are the combinations to be dreaded. The combination of Jupiter and Moon is auspicious according to accepted astrological wisdom. It gives rise to the powerful "Gajakesari Yoga" promising goodwill of the public. Unless the native is born under soonya thithis, the combination of Jupiter and Moon is good only. Even in this exception, Jupiter greatly reduces the malefic effect arising due to birth in soonya thithis. Now-a-days too much is written without adequate theoretical backing. Be very discerning in selecting your authors! Kindly do not be mislead by what you have read in that book! Blessed be. Pandit. It goes on to state that this yoga is also known as Kathri Yoga. > Could you please verify whether this is correct or otherwise. > Thank you. > > David > > > > Mail > Bring photos to life! Guest guest
Dear Shri Dakshinamoorthi ji, Thank you very much for the clarification. I got the write up on the so called yoga from a Tamil book entitled, "Jothida Kalanjiyam" 2nd part 3rd Edition (Aug. 1987) at page 148. The author is Jothidakalaiko A.M. Pillai.
