Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru Namaste Sreeram Ji, I have learned the following Balarishta assesment method and principles from Visti Ji's (teaching from 2004 West Coast confernce), and also my own study on this area. If I am making any wrong application of the principles, please take them as my shortcoming in my understanding rather than their teachings. Having said that, let us get started. You have asked "why this native has died just two years after birth?". I would consider this case as a "Balarishta" case. First of all let us understand what is Balarishta. After taking the birth it is not uncommon that some newly arrived native's are met with terrible circumstances in the form of dangers, disease or even death. The possibility of premature death follows the native, until the 24th year has passed from the time of birth. The methods of ascertaining the longevity of the native are inapplicable to a person below this age. These 24 years are termed as: Balarishta from 0-12 years, and Yogarishta between 12-24 years. Sage Parasara later states that the Balarishta span is 8 years and Yogarishta is 12 years (9-20 years of age). Hence for a native of 8 years of age or younger the principles of Balarishta are fully applied, and the normal methods for calculating longevity such as Pindayu, etc, do not apply. Having understood what is Balarishta, now let us explore principles which causes the Balarishta and also those principles which cancles Balarishta. I have considered the following birth details for this analysis, and I have attached the chart also for your convenience too:- January 17, 2004 Time: 6:30:00 Time Zone: 4:00:00 (East of GMT) Place: 55 E 16' 00", 25 N 15' 00" Dubai, United Arab Emirates In this Chart, in Rasi, Dhanus Lagna is rising and its lord Guru (Vakra) is placed in 9th house. Lagna is aspected by Shani (Vakra) by Graha and Rasi Drishti and Kuja is aspecting by Rasi Drishti. Rahu is aspecting the Lagna and Lord by Graha Drishti too. First of all we have to see the Sun's placement in the child's chart to assess the vitality. Here in this chart, the Sun is placed in the 2nd house. The next thing, we should see is the, the Lord of the weekday and this native was born on Friday ( I have considered the Vaara is Friday as the birth had taken place prior to the Sunrise) and the Vaara Lord is Sukra. You will notice that, this Sun is placed in the 3rd from Lagna and this Sukra being aspected by Rahu by Rasi Drishti too. So the above two points indicates to me that some health problems are seen in this native's chart. Janma Nakshatra is Visakha and I am not going into the various Gandhanta's as that would be a separate reading itself and I am focusing on balaraishta's and let me continue from that point of view. Among the most important factors in judging balaraishta, the Chandra is the key point of focus. So, next we have to see the sustenance of the native from Chandra's placement. Here the Chandra is 8th lord and placed in 11th house, with Ketu who is the 12th co-lord along with (also) Mandi, Gulika and A8 (Mrityu Pada/Roga Pada ). This Chandra is being aspected by Rahu by Graha Drishti, and also Kuja the 12th lord aspecting by Graha Drishti too. So these combinations indicates to me that Chandra is not in a good placement. Jupiter is known as Jeeva, which means life force. The weakness of Guru being Vakra and aspected by Rahu and Shani in this chart can prove detrimental towards the life force of the native, if neither the Surya nor the Chandra are strong. Unfotunately, in this chart neither Surya nor chandra are strong. Guru the jeeva karaka is also not strong either. Having seen the Surya, Chandra, Guru and Lagna lord are not promising a good health, now let us see the 8th and 10th houses to see the balarishta too. 8th lord is Chandra, who is placed in 11th house. 10th lord is Budha who is placed in lagna. So the 10th Lord Budha is in Moola Nakshatra which is ruled by Ketu, who is 12th co-lord in this chart. So these are showing threat to the native's life. The weak placement of the Chandra which can trigger all the balarishta yogas. It is also very unfortunate that the Balarishta cancellation combination does not exist in this chart too. According to deva keralam: Lagna is the prana, and Chandra is the Sharira. If the Chandra is afflicted then the body is susceptible towards problems / accidents. Further it is the sustenance of the persons presence in this world, and if afflicted indicates that the child will not live long. As I have already spent a lot of time and this note is getting longer, so I will stop here. If I find some time I will go over the principles on determining the death date of this young child later. Alternatively, I would request Gurus and Learned memebers to write the principles behind the death date of this child. Having said that, may I request Gurus and learned members to correct me if I am wrong in applying the Balarishta principles, so that I can correct myself. Hope the above may be of some help to my fellow students. This native has NO relation whatsoever to me or to my family members. This event is taken from a newspaper clipping by my astro_friend just out of curiosity / interest. Anyone interested in taking a chance in this case study, may write to me "offline". I would acknowledge every e-mail that I receive. I would also make a submission here that this case study is not for amateurs. Any serious researcher should he arrive at the proper astro conclusion, would find this interesting case study very revealing and open a door of hidden knowledge therein, which would catapult an individual to a very high levels of distinction in prediction. Depending upon the response of the members, I can share some of my group research case studies which I am sure would be interesting case studies - touching the frontiers of astrology knowledge boundaries.
