Dear Richard,

Namaste

I will send the excerpts on Rudraksha hopefully by end of the day. I need to

put the several pages into .jpg format and then compacted into (.rar) so the

fonts can be readable. (I'm a bit busy right now).

The face/mouth is beyond the grahas and each of the face/s is related more

to a particular Deva's energy.

Note that in Sanjay ji's book: Vedic Remedies in Astrology, he mentions that

the faces go up to 21. But from the referencing in this Purana, I have found

only 14 faces mentioned.

Love,

Swee

[vedic astrology] Astrological relations between planets and

different mukhi Rudraksha

Dear Fellow Members,

Regarding the astrological relations between planets and different

mukhi Rudraksha, I have not read all tantric and astrological books,

nor all the Puranas.

To be honest I am only repeating like a parrot what I have read by

Rudraksha experts, and I have never questioned their conclusions, such

as 1 mukhi=Sun, 2 mukhi=Moon, BUT, I would have thought that 3 mukhi

represented Jupiter, whose cosmic number is 3. Instead the experts have

listed in order of the week days rather than by cosmic number.

If Rudraksha is listed by associated "number" then it would be, 1

mukhi=Sun, 2 mukhi=Moon, 3 mukhi=Jupiter, 4 mukhi=Rahu, 5

mukhi=Mercury, 6 mukhi=Venus, 7 mukhi=Ketu, 8 mukhi =Saturn, and 9

mukhi=Mars. Further, 10 mukhi=Sun, 11 mukhi=Moon, 12 mukhi=Jupiter, 13

mukhi=Rahu, 14 mukhi=Mercury, 15 mukhi=Venus, 16 mukhi=Ketu, 17

mukhi=Saturn, and 18 mukhi=Mars.

But that is not what others have concluded. And I cannnot dispute

anything about Rudraksha for want of knowledge. If they ever change the

RR list to be as above, I'll be the first to accept it!!! Can you shed

some light on the Planet-Rudraksha relationship and how it came to be?

Warm rgds,

Richard

dear friend richard

you are right in saying that we are yet to find references from holy

scriptures attributing rudraksh to planets. however, various purans

have already given lordships for each type of rudraksh. i did some

research in this field and i recommend rudraksh based on the results

attributed to the rudraksha and also based on the lordship of the

rudraksha.

also i found some people not getting favourable results with wearing

ek mukh rudraksha both round and half-moon type. in shivapuran

under vidveshvar samhita, it is written that ek mukh rudraksha shall

be worshipped at the native's place. it is also written that where

this is worshipped, goddess of wealth laxmi dwells there. it is

further written in more clear terms that where this rudraksha is

worshipped, that place would be free of all problems and all natives

dwelling in that area would have all their desires fulfilled.

with best wishes and regards

arjun
