Panditji,

Kindly excuse me for troubling you again, please help me to find my

Upasna Devta,

In my D-20 fifth lord is Venus who is in conjunction with Mercury in

second house which is Karka (Lord being Moon).

In such a case who is my Upasna Devta ?

Kindly clarify my doubts once for all.

Dear Shri. Parameshwaran:

In your D20 chart, the 5th lord Venus is conjunct Mercury- the

1st and 4th lord. They are in Kataka ruled by Moon. 4th house also

rules Mother; Moon is the significator of Shri. Chandrasekhara. Venus

denotes a female deity. Mercury is the lord of 1st and 4th houses

(Aatma form and Mother form). So, the best Divine form for your

contemplations and upaasanaa will be Shri. Uma Maheswaraa (Lord Shiva

along with his Divine Consort and Crescent Moon in his matted hair

crest). Performing Soma VAara Vrata (special fasting on Mondays in

honour of Lord Shiva), Pradosha Vrata, etc. will be highly auspicious

to you. Always meditating Lord Shiva with his Divine consort together

will be auspicious for you. Chanting the mantra "Om Namah Shivaayai

cha namah Shivaaya" will be the suitable mantra for such a worship.

I hope this helps.

Blessed be.

Pandit. R.DAKSHINAMOORTHI.

Respected sri, Pandit Dakshinamoorthi,

Kindly help me find my ishta devata and upasana devatas.

Would you be kind enough to look into my chart sir,

I am Nalini, born on 28th february, 1960, at 14.42 hrs at Madras.

I have always turned to the mother of Aurobindo ashram since

childhood. For me the name Divine Mother conjures up the images of

maha tripurasundari mother of aurobindo ashram and sometimes even my

biological mother, I dont know why? my manasika guru is Sri

Raghavendra swamy, who has always been everywhere important even

before me.I also worship Lord Malaiyappan of Seven Hills.

Kindly help me.

Regards

Nalini
