Guest guest
Dear Sriman, Namaste!!! I do not know where you are although you have described gem business in your location as unscrupulous!??? Otherwise, In the rest of the world, Gemology is an elite science respected by Kings and Queens, and gems business is highly respectable trade involving thousands of honest buyers and sellers and trade organizations. Gems and jewelery is one of the MOST sattvic and high class professions on earth. On the train in India I got milk sold along side the train, and that milk had been mixed half with water to increase profit, not taking the needs of the native into account. So, shall we say that "dairy" is an unscruplous business? vedic astrology, "kishore mohan" <kishorepatnaik09 wrote: > nah... what I guess mr kumar meant is selling stones has become an > unscrupulous business and does not take the needs of the native into > account. > > If the native is gullible, sell him the most affordable stone, > whether astrologically he needs it or not. > > while such practices are deplorable, we can not condemn the very act > of selling stones. > > Kishore patnaik > > > vedic astrology, "Richard Shaw-Brown II" > <rsbj66@> wrote: > > > > ---Rspd Srimanji, > > > > Knowledge of gems is a SCIENCE > > Selling of gems is a BUSINESS > > Wearing of gems is a FASHION > > > > What is the harm? I think in the host of the messages, you have only quickly glanced through my post and made some conclusions. I said " unscrupulous practices", speicifically selling stones with unethical commerical interests in mind and not the interests of the buyer. Let me clarify once more that I am not against selling gems. It is like any other business and what I said is, ike in any other professsional business including the supposedly holy profession of healing, there are unscrupulous practices in gem business also. Just because of these practices, you can not condemn away the entire science. Hope I am clear.
