Guest guest
Hello Srinadh, Many thanks for publishing the horoscope of Sabarimala Ayyapa Swami , in the net. However, it would have been in fitness of things, had you acknowledged or mentioned a word about your own friend, Madhu N Nair, that eminent researcher in Astrology, whose pre-eminent research in the malayalam ballad that led to the re-discovery of the lost horoscope of Lord Ayyapa, published years back in the "Jyotisha Ratnam" the best selling, monthly ,Astrological Magazine of Kerala Love SVM Sreenadh <sreelid wrote: Dear All, Ayyappa Swami is thought to be the incarnation of God Sastha (Hari- Hara Sutha). There is a famous temple in Sabarimala of south india. The story of God known with different names such as Sastha/Darma sastha/HariHara sutha etc and that of Ayyappa is often difficult to distinguish. The history of Ayyappa is mystified. And it becomes very difficult to distinguish History and Puranic stories. The horoscope of ayyappa is described in some old texts. As per those poems, the Asc is Ta, Sa in 3rd, Mo and ke in 4th, Ma in 7th, Su and Me in 9th, Ra in 10th, Ju and Ve in 11th. The day of birth is saterday, thidhi is Panchami, Star is Uthara Phalguni. The story of Ayyappa is strongly related to the Panthala Dynasty of Kerala. Considering the history of this dynasty, which starts in 9th century AD, I tried to locate this planatary position using JHora software. I found that there is only one date, that agrees to this description at least to a certain extent. The date is 1299 Jan 28, Noon 1.00 pm. To be in tune with the above description, as far as possible, I had used the Raman Ayanamsa. Place of Birth: Pathanamthitta, Kerala. Long : 76.47 E Lat : 09.16 N Time Zone: +5.30 East of GMT. Guest guest
Dear Murughan ji, I haven't read the article by Madhu on the same till date. As far as the original chart is concerned it is available to many from the age old Malayalam verses, which are available to any with a curiosity, and the same I got from "Ayyappan patt", and "Ayyappa charitham vilpatt" and no credit of that goes to Madhu, nor I need that. Madhu N Nair is known to me, and both our articles come in magazines such as "Jyothisha Sandesam" at the same time. There was no special contact between me and Madhu through phone/mail/letters, except that we both know each other. My articles on the horoscope of Ayyappa swami is given to Magazines like "Nal" and "Jyothisha Sandesam" before 6 months, and probably they had published it as well (I rarely check whether the once sent articles gets published or not, since I don't have any monitory benefits from them). Remember that two persons may have found (I don't know what Madhu arrived at) the same/similar thing through there unique search. (I don't know sure about what was Madhu's ideas regarding the Horo of Ayyappa swami, since I am not a reader of Jyotisha Ratnam). The date I was pointing to is not indebted to Madhu or anybody else. Know that every person is unique and they have there own paths. Learn to understand this truth. If you have the details of Horo arrived at by Madhu, please publish it here for the benefit of all. If you or anybody else have JHora software which gives horoscope ranging from BC 5400 to AD 5400, then if at least some horoscope details are available then locating the era and casting the chart is a simple task, which does not deserve any special credit. Trying to boost the credit and the ego in such simple tasks that takes just 30 min work, makes me smile. The real credit in such things should go to the creator of JHora software. Hope that you will understand the point.
