Guest guest
Dear List, Can anyone explain the circumstances whereby we employ graha or rashi drishti? When is one used over the other? Or are they both employed simultaneously? If so, which has precedence? Thanks in advance, Raja
Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Raja, Classics like BPHS just mention about the drishti. They dont have it written about the underlying reasons. You can read articles/books by Pt. Sanjay Rath or PVR Narasimha Rao. Who have written ways to differentiate. Assume Graha drishti to be like "Desire", The desire of the graha may or may not be fulfilled. Use Graha Drishti for identifying curses etc. Where someone has harmed due to bad or harmful desire. Rashi Drishti is like environments influence. To word it in my words to approximately express the concept, When a graha is placed in an environment (Rashi) then the environment gets changed. This change is environment effect wherever the resources from that Rashi propagates. This is something like energy influence. Movable always transfer energy to Fixed rashi and Vice-Versa. The dual signs exchange energy amongst them selves. It's like say a heater/AC is kept in one place and energy from it is circulated to all other rooms even though the heater may not be in the other rooms. Or say something like if you are living besides a temple even though you may have no desire to go to temple the good influence of temple on the environment is accrued to you. Similarly you can think such ideas to understand the differences. Guest guest
Dear Twinkle ji If i am allowed to intervene. Relationships or Sambandhas are possible in the following ways. 1)Lordship 2)Conjunction/Placement 3)Aspect 4)Divisional relationships (Amshas of Rashis) Thus a Rashi will have relationship with another Rashi through Rashi drishti as well as through the lords of such Rashis. If the lord of a rashi is related to another Rashi through amshaka bandha(divisional relationships) then those rashis are as well related.Example - A planets navamsha lord is checked to see the Rashi to which it is having connection. There is no distinction as Rashi drishti through divisional relation or otherwise.A rashi is having a relation with another rashi(Rashi drishti) ,that is all, is my understanding.Divisionals are another kind of sambandha. Shri Sanjayji may express his views, which can be different from mine. Thanks Pradeep vedic astrology, Twinkle Vijaywargiya <mrs_vijaywargiya wrote: > > namaste sanjayji! > > do we consider rasi drishti in divisional charts also? > regards > twinkle > > > > --- sanjayprabhakaran <sanjaychettiar wrote: > > > > || Om Gurave Namah || > > Dear Raja, > > Classics like BPHS just mention about the drishti. Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Namaste Twinkle, Yes,I was taught to use Rashi drishti even in Amsha charts also. For Narayana Dasa computation in Amsha charts, Rashi aspects of Mercury, Jupiter and Lord of sign plays important role in deciding whether Rahu/Saturn or Ketu/Mars are lords of Aq and Sc respectively. -Warm Regards Sanjay P On 2/7/06, Twinkle Vijaywargiya <mrs_vijaywargiya wrote: > > namaste sanjayji! > > do we consider rasi drishti in divisional charts also? > regards > twinkle > > > > --- sanjayprabhakaran <sanjaychettiar wrote: > > > > || Om Gurave Namah || > > Dear Raja, > > Classics like BPHS just mention about the drishti.
