Is It Possible to Calculate Menstrual Cycle Dates?

Dear Tarun,

 

You mean 11th sign from ascendant? or transit over natal Saturn. Well, I

have been following this up for my wife and she starts her cycle with

transit of Moon in practically every sign of the zodiac, so what you say

here doesn't appear true. She only skipped the signs of Saturn so far and

that could be because Capricorn is her 5th house?? I wonder...

Lagna and at the same time is aspected by Mars

 

Generally it occurs near New moon or Full moon.

same time the lagna is aspected by mars.

 

is this correct?

In the notes to Stanza 1. chapter IV of brihath Jataka,the

transkator Sri. B.Suriyanarain Rao writes "When the moon occupies

the anupachaya from the birth sign of a woman aspected by Mars,

menses appear, which fecilitates conception" So Moon should be

aspected and not Lagna.

dear list,

this topic caught my attention, and i do not see any thing wrong in

discussing it as it is pretty important.why take it in any other sense than that

of a study angle.

i for example luckily have the details of that day and have made note of the

position of moon and mars. transit moon was in the 5th house from natal lagna,

and also had a connection with natal mars from the 8th house from lagna.

the other point to note is that transit mars was in my natal lagna where the

natal moon is!!! now this is phenominal.

so summing it all up.mars was transiting natal lagna and moon.

transit moon in 5th from natal lagna(in dual rasi)

natal mars in 8th of lagna also (in another dual rasi)

happened just after the new moon of ugadi!!

this information was noted down by my dear father who is no more now, in one

of his diaries.may his soul be ever peaceful.

in various classics written by the sages, hundreds (sum total may be

in thousands) of verses are written on the menstrual cycle. if they

did not feel wrong, we shall not feel wrong. each member has the

choice of not participating in a subject which he or she does not

like.
