Credit accorded (stones)

dear friend swee

 

since i have not seen the old thread of yours i assume it is all

about finding recommendation of stones in the holy scriptures viz.

puranas.

 

even though i am not aware of any holy scripture recommending

stones, the garuda purana says that the dead body of a demon

called "balasur" transformed into various jewels and fell across the

land.

 

i read few references in holy scriptures about the benefits of a

ruby (not recommendation) but have not found any holy scripture

recommending nine stones for the nine planets, especially the two

stones for the non existing malefic dark planets rahu and ketu.

 

if you or richard find any holy scripture recommending stones for

planets, kindly share with us.
