Guest guest
Dear Jyotishi, Hare Rama Krsna! I realized I never gave my comments on my Quiz that I had posted. Here it is: >Check the matri shoola dasha - quite something is changing when Mars is >either in Capricorn or Aquarius. See the chara karaka... In the case of this native, it will depend on which ayanamsa you use whether Mars is in Capricorn or it is in Aquarius. This changes the whole set of chara karaka for this chart. Now I can say that this person is more of a Moon atmakaraka person than a Mars person, though his lagna is Scorpio. Rather, his wife is more of the Mars person. Anyway, let's see the chara karaka for mother: with Lahiri it is Mercury, with mine it is Jupiter. When Mars is exalted, it will be stronger than Moon who is debilitated. So rudra will be Rahu-Saturn and Sun. Matri shoola dasha will start in any case from 10th house Leo, who is stronger than 4th house. But then with Lahiri, matri chara karaka aspects in rasi dristi to Leo thus giving protection to the mother, and she wouldn't die in the Leo shoola dasha. With my ayanamsa (47'7" less than Lahiri) Moon is stronger than Mars and rudra are Mercury and Jupiter. Jupiter as chara matri karaka does not aspect Leo and death of mother is possible in the first matri shoola dasha, who is aspected by the Rudra Mercury. Guest guest
Dear Dhira, I've read your post with an open mind and frozen heart- Bottom line of what you are saying is that your ayan. works and Lahiri doesn't-at least for you. Scary for jyotisha though. My impression is that you don't want to win us over to use your Ayr., just to "prove" that LAHIRI doesn't work- by extending implications of this further, everybody should find own ayan. or make just post-factum predictions using different methods, to 'suit' the 'case'. Theoretically, if each of us can get different karakas, periods, etc...there is no science of Jyotish. This is my deliberate exaggeration, to make my point clearer- no need to say, neither you nor I, think that Jyotish is such a 'loose' syste m. I know you are a serious astrologer, and what you say does matter- I am wondering isn't it time to admit that wonderful "science of light" is DIFFERENT from common understanding of that word! Fortunately! Why knowledgeable Narasimha, often successful in prediction, denies that he uses anything but 'scientific' /experimentally provable, repeatable..etc - scientific rules whic DO apply for SIMPLE phenomena, mechanical if you wish- more complex, like life, person, prana, intuition, clairvoiance, etc...are, simply 'laugh' at limited sc. arsenal"!!! Don't we need more about cultivating that precious "inner working' perhaps best defined as 'Jyotish Vidia'/or smth around that/? Back to Narasimha example- with full 8th H which I BE LIEVE does lead him, he believes that denying that precious tool, he adds credibility to Jyotish- everybody can do Jy- nothing is farther from the truth. /Yet he so beautifully sharpen that very precious tool by being devoted to cultivating his connection with higher self, God, power of rituals, etc.. Jyotish would gain a LOT, and Jyotisha as well, by cultivating that precious personal capital, which perhaps lead some of us to study and love Jyotish, to start with! In short, I think that we do not need new Ayanamsha, mi lions of dashas- which 'distort' that precious quality which gets suffocated overwhelmed by unnecessary increase in quantity and as we have seen, decrease in quality. I love Jyotish, very, very very much, because.........1 milion reasons...................well, for the room it leaves for the that intangible but powerful FORCE /among others f./ Regards, Anna Dhira Krsna BCS <Dhira.Krsna.BCS wrote: Dear Jyotishi, Hare Rama Krsna!
