Guest guest Posted January 22, 2006 Report Share Posted January 22, 2006 Dear Narayan Hari ji, A person is related to his/her parents (as they them selves represent his previous birth) and to his/her children (as they them selves are his future birth). In the making of a human being the stuff (matter and energy) from many places may be used and the stuff (building material for making of anything) is fundamentally associated with karma. Or in simple terms, if you are making a pot out of mud, then the quality of that mud is surely going to affect the quality and future of the pot. (Here you should also remember that one shouldn't depend too much on examples/models for understanding things since, examples just point to the truth and not truth in themselves. i.e. Don't take a example/ sample/model pointed to, and try to understand the whole nature of the truth of that subject with that example alone). I think the above example may help to make you come out of your basic doubt, how past deeds (karma) and parents are related to a persons fate. .
