Hi...I'm fairly new on the list and I have comments/questions below compiled

from a couple of email's that I have joined together....

Asc.Dear Sreenadh, You wrote: "If anybody is getting bored with Ar Asc, I

will stop discussing this subject." No one can ever get bored with Aries,

please keep on going.

[me]

Yes...let's keep going. I have an Aries ascendant too so I'm interested in this

discussion as well:o)

Sreenadh <sreelid > wrote: Dear All, For an Aris Asc, the lagna is

he himself. The lagna lord is exalted in 10th means he would like to do

everything in a systematic manner. He would be well organized and good in time

management. Due to this he would excel as a superintend, supervisor, librarian,

manager or the like. He knows how to be systematic and strict and make the other

people obey his orders. 8th is also owned by Ma, meaning that his death will not

happen at the house in which he was born.

[me]

Just as a side comment....here in the U.S., as I realize there are many from

countries around the world on this list, most of us do not die in the 'home'

(hospital) we were born in.

[previously written]

But since it is a sthira sign, he will die in a home owned by him, (There also

probably in an out house) but away from his house of birth. (It is an 8th to

Lagna relation). Now let us consider the Lagna to 8th relation. This person

will always be worried about his life span, and will always think about it,

though he is not afraid of death. Continue the Lagna bhava chintha like this.

[me]

Is this true for Aries Asc in general? I'm a beginner/intermediate vedic

astrology student (D.O.B. June 12, 1961, 3:15 A.M. (daylight savings time

applies) in San Pedro, CA currently living in Machias, Maine. Venus on the

Asc, Moon/Sun in Taurus in the 2nd, Jup/Saturn in the 10th). I don't worry

about my life span in an obsessive way or even in a general way so maybe this

idea is indicated in some other way?

[previously written]

Now coming to the 2nd house. 2nd and 7th is owned by Ve. He will get money due

his wife, probably in the form of dowry, or as the share of wealth owned by her

given to her by her parents. (It is a 7th to 2nd relation). Now considering the

2nd to 7th relation, he will have a good family life, and tasty food (2nd) due

to his wife (7th). Means his wife is a good cook.

[me]

What if you ARE the wife with an Aries asc? Meaning does it follow that my

spouse receives the money I have rec'd from other sources??

[previously written]

2nd house Taurus indicates agriculture. He would be interested in cultivating

plants, (though he depends on his job for income than agriculture), and would

like pets like parrots (indicated by Li sign and Ve), dogs, cats etc.

[me]

This is interesting since the first business I owned many years ago was an

exotic wholesale bird business. I had 500 plus exotic birds, hand raised

parrots and so on but haven't had a bird since in about 25 years although I

still have bird feeders of all kinds outside for the wild birds in this area.

(a remedial measure I have read...for Jupiter so maybe it's a remedial measure

for Venus instead??)

[previously written]

He will have all kinds of electronic goods like TV, Fridge, etc in his home, and

he like to own such things. It is even possible that he would love to

waste/spend his money on such posh electronic equipments.

[me]

This is where I get confused because here in the U.S. most people have

electronic equipment and everyone reading this email has a computer. One

cannot get by without electronic equipment in certain parts of the world.

Dear Sreenadh Ji, You wrote: "For Ar Asc, the brother becomes his enemy (Me

exalted in 6th), and his wife will have a life with hardships (Ve exalted in

12th)."

[me]

What if one's Mercury is in Gemini in the 3rd ruling the 6th? My older and only

brother is my enemy, by the way.

[previously written]

So what does each exalted planet mean? Does exalted Moon (in Taurus) mean that

mother will have lots of wealth?

[me]

I have Moon in Taurus in 2nd house....my mother comes from an aristocratic and

wealthy family but was disowned by her father when she was young. My moon

conjuncts my Sun in Taurus and my birth father (as I was adopted at around the

age of 12) is extremely wealthy. They divorced when I was 2. Just because a

placement is exalted can mean very little if other aspects are taking place.

Jupiter aspects my 2nd house in my Rasi. Sun is my AK.

[previously written]

Can you cover all the planets in exaltation, including Rahu and Ketu? Can you

also cover all planets in exaltation in retrograde as well? While we are

discussing exalted planets, can we also discuss this for Navamsa along with

Rasi, individually and combined? Thanks, Devika. . Yes, the 6th house

from Ar is upachaya house, meaning growth or many. That is why one born in Ar

Asc will have many enemies. 3rd and 6th are upachaya houses, and is owned by

the same planet and that is why he will have many younger ones. 6th is upachaya

and that is why he will have very strong enemies who will have good position and

power. 6th is upachaya and is owned by a good planet and that is why he would be

living a good life with a good body (with out much diseases). (Here growth is

applied to health) So on it goes.Good to read your mail. It is like a tonic -

inspiring. :)

[me]

What if one's family IS one's enemy in totality? My mercury in the 3rd owns the

6th but I know there must be other factors involved here. As I said, I was

adopted when I was about 12 but went back at 17 and found my birth father and

his family and I have regretted that for years as they turned 'malefic' over

time. I no longer talk to them and only talk to my birth father 'rarely'. As

far as other enemies, I find owning my own businesses much better for my

psychological health when I'm in command rather then work for ignorant and

jealous superiors who always seem to block my way. I'm so thrilled to find

that I will be making more enemies in the future...geez!! LOL! The only

person who has not acted like an enemy to me and has been my closest and

dearest friend and comrade of the heart is my spouse. He, too, has a lot of

family that have been enemies to him in his life.

Sorry to barge in and post comments/questions but I find this thread of

conversation interesting. I'm just learning like everyone else here so if I

ask dumb questions, I apologize.

Thanks....

Renee

Dear Renee,

That was a general prediction for Ar Asc man! For women there is some

corrections and difference to be applied. But I am posting too many

mails and currently no time to go into the depth of this issue pointed

out by me. There might be others who are interested in this issue.

After throwing in this bit of info I am withdrawing.....

lollllzzzzzzz...Hope somebody will take up this issue and give their

contribution to the discussion....Of course there could be many women

posting/reading messages in this forum...

We should better write special astrology books for women too....Since

the prediction differs to a great extend......

Your questions and mail was very long and I enjoyed reading it...But

let others answer those questions.........

Have a good day......!

Love,

Sreenadh
