Makar sankranti 2006 - celestial swastika

After making the previous post on another list I had a conversation

with an astrologer who told me of a discussion she had had over a

celestial swastika's appearance at the time of the mahasankranti

2006. 14/15 january 2006 depending on your location.

 

 

 

If you take a pencil draw a line from an imaginary central spot in

the chart first to the planets, and then to the

exaltation/debilitation signs of those planets, you will see a

swastika type shape appears.

 

Note that all the planets are in an angle to their exultatation and

debilitation signs on the Maha sankranti.

 

 

 

 

you see and then one from the deb exaltation point to the planet, its

swastika like. when sun jupiter saturn Mars are all in the cardinal

signs you have a four pronged one, only if you just do it to

exaltation and then deb signs you get two figure 8's instead.

take a pencil out and draw lines.

Jupiter = libra

Mars = Aries

Mercury = Sag

 

Anticlockwise on southern vedic chart from exaltation sign

 

Saturn = Cancer

Sun = Capricorn

Venus = Sag

 

As already noted on that date Venus, Sun, Moon and Uranus are

vargottama. Saturn, Jupiter Mars are in opposite signs (7th navamsa)

reforming the square in the navamsa chart.

 

In the swastika formation you can either look alternatively at

deb/exaltation signs to form it, or if you look at just exaltatation

signs or deb, you get something different..

 

Jupiter is in Saturns exaltation sign and Saturn is in Jupiters. Same

with Mars Sun, Mars in Suns exaltation sign, and Mars in Suns. Venus

and Mercury are together in Sag. Hence three pairs are linked.

Saturn/Jupiter Mercury/Venus and Mars/Sun.

 

Some thoughts as to the meaning came to me.

 

Innocence (Mars) & devotion to God (Jupiter) are going to be the

force that wil help us rise above ego (Sun) and the boundaries

separating the individual. (Saturn). Through understanding (mercury)

by grace of the Goddess (venus).

 

This was due to clockwise motion. But also then you can look at the

anti clockwise motion.

 

Collectivity (saturn) and humility (Sun) will spread dharma (Jupiter)

and innocence (mars). Additionally the barrier of the difference's of

laxshmi and saraswati will be overcome *Mercury and Venus conjunct.

 

Certainly it looks like a time of uniting of opposing forces. In a

worldly way one cannot rule out upheaval. But its very deep

spiritually.

 

The significance of the swastika is relation to this, is that

Ganapati is the one who initiates everything and whose permission is

sought at the start of all ventures. That He is the initiator of an

action that involves the co ordination of all the planets must mean

its pretty significant.
