need some help to understand my current dasha

I am new to this forum, and very inexperienced with Vedic in general, although I

have

studied Western astrology extensively. I am trying to understand the dasha I am

about to

begin on January 12th according to the print out I have from an astrologer I met

last

summer. According this this, I am going to begin a Vimshottarri dasha of

Venus-Jupiter-

Mercury. From a Western perspective this sounds delightful, but I know that my

natal

planets are involved in the interpretation. My birth info is 4/14/1971 at 4:41

PM in New

Hyde Park, New York. If anyone can help me understand this dasha I would be very

grateful!

Using 360 day civil year the venus-jupiter period has already started for

october 2004. Befor this you ran venus-rahu period, from october 2001 to

october 2004. Guru in transir and shani had activated your seventh house during

that period as well. Did you get into a serious relationship during that time ?

 

Also 11th lord is in 3rd indicating you are youngest or the oldest among the siblings.

 

The seventh lord from ascendant has exchanged signs with mangal(mars) and

seventh house is aspected by mars as well. So some afflictions to the seventh

house exist.

 

Venus -jupiter, as Jupiter is 7th lord and lord of lagna navansha there is a

good possibility of seventh house results. There is also a possibility of

frequent travels in this dasha.

 

How is your career. I see combinations for ups and downs or frequent changes in jobs.

 

>From moon the tenth lord is exalted although in the sixth house and is vargottam

( same sign in main chart and in navansha) so there is strength to 10th house

from moon.
