Lord of the 10th in the 10th but in the 8th bhava in navamsa

B.V. Raman says that when the lord of the 10th bhava is in the 10th

bhava it indicates an excellent career unless of course afflicted. But

then he adds that when this same 10th lord in either 6, 8 or 12th bhava

in navamsa, the native would be stuck doing a routine job.

 

Does anyone find this to be true? If this same 10th lord, is part of

several good raja yogas does it annul the perpective of being stuck in

a routine job. I'm asking because I started the dasa of my 10th lord

two years ago and was expecting things to pick-up a bit more. And yes

my 10th lord is swa in gemini but in the 8th bhava in navamsa.
