Even he was charging US$180 (US Dollars one hundred and eighty only) for his Jagannatha Hora Lite software until recently. He was giving it at a concessional rate of US$100 for developing nations also. The software was made free only recently. Ofcourse, I have high regards for Shri. P.V.Narasimha Raoji and I am one of the first persons to have congratulated him and felicitated him on his announcement that the Hora Lite software has been made free, but you seem to be unaware of the fact that he was also charging for his software previously! Kindly understand that even gurujis have expenses to meet when they sit in front of the computer and use the internet and they charge you only to cover the costs and not to make profits! One Mr. Sowmiya Srinivasa Raghavan has said that he is paying money not to read stuff like that... You see, even an ordinary user who is not offering anything to this forum speaks of money for the single session of internet, and nobody seems to mind it. But, when a guruji who has spent years of study and immense efforts to acquire his wonderful knowledge is expected to do free service. Kali yuga indeed! You wax eloquent about ancient gurus... but, let me tell you one thing, none of the ancient siddhas would have put up with your antics and silly questions without basic knowledge. The present day gurus are too kind and humble that the students are taking them for granted. I remember your exchanges with guruji in the past with your doubts of Atmakaraka, lagna lord in 5th etc. Did guruji ask you money for that? Ask the many members of this forum who have availed free prayer service from guruji whether they think that gurji is money-minded. Incidentally your quote of "gurosthu mounam vyaakyaanam" is not about ordinary gurus. It is a slokham on Shri Dakshinamoorthi (Lord Shiva as a Jagat Guru). It is a wonderful slokha which you are quoting out of context as usual! Shri. Dakshinamoorthiji may not respond to your hate mails due to his humility "Vidya dadathi vinayam". But, his well-wishers will not tolerate any insult to his efforts. In my native place 'Professional astrologers' charge 300Rs - 600 Rs to prepare a horoscope chart for one person that too with one- fourth of the details in Jhora. In a group like this where I have so far encountered only people who are always willing to share their knowledge without any expectation, it was really disturbing to see a 'canvassing mail' which appeared like an advertisement. As many people had felt, I too felt that though asking money 'as a profession' is not wrong, THIS group WAS NOT the right platform to do that. I felt it like polluting a sacred place!! Lets try to maintain this group unpolluted!! I think Narasimhji should highlight in bold and in bigger fonts the following text in home page which is at present too minute for people to read!! (the reason why people overlook it!)
