dear friends

rudraksh are the holy beads which are recommended by none other than

lord shiva and find its mention in various purans and holy

scriptures.

rudraksha are available from one to fourteen mukh (lines or faces)

and each rudraksha has a lord representing it.

one to nine mukh rudraksh represent the nine planets respectively in

order of sun, moon, mars, mercury, jupiter, venus, saturn, rahu and

ketu.

originally rudraksh were available in four colours viz. white, red,

yellow and black which are to be worn by the four castes viz.

brahmins, kshatriyas, vaisyas and shudras respectively. however,

white and black rudraksh have been rarely heard or seen and all the

rudraksh available in the world are only between red and yellow. i

have a collection of white and black rudraksh as well.

following websites are old and reputed rudraksha suppliers:

.com

rudrakshanepal.com

rudralife.com

rudraaksha.com

rudraksh.info

rudraksham.com

fortunepointindia.com

however, rudraksha beads cannot be worn like an ornament by buying

them from a shop. they need to undergo the following processes

without which they would not give the desired results:

1. purification

2. sanctification

3. energisation

4. programming

5. maintenance

1. purification involves cleaning with water, air and oil.

2. sanctification is done by performing rudrabhishekam afer placing

the rudraksha on a svayambhu shivling.

3. energisation is done by chanting the respective mantra assigned

to each type of rudraksh as mentioned in shivpuran.

4. programming means giving sankalpam that the particular rudraksh

is worn by so and so for this or that purpose.

5. maintenance is done by the wearer by following dos and donts.

instead of stones, i have been recommending rudraksh as remedies for

mollification of planets and the wearers have given positive

feedback in all cases, as i do all these processes myself. for more

information on rudraksh, anyone can contact me on my personal ID

instead of the group as we are here to discuss on astrology.

with best wishes

arjun
