I had asked for Vishnu ji's clarification earlier on the same and he

seems to have either overlooked or ignored my post. Here is the message

Madam Swee & Sri Prasad,

Namaste,

Prasad, I certainly seem to have overlooked your post.Ignored? No. My apologies.

"Perineum" is definitely between linga and guda, Perinium is like a

nodule/bulb,no doubt! But, is Perineum Mooladhaara? If it

is your point that Perinuem is Mooladhaara?

Perineum is a very fine point and used to constrict flow of semen out

of testis. Is it anyway linked to coccyx/ coccygeal plexus/ bottom of

spinal axis? Then what is "Perinium"?

Yes, Perinium is "one of the parts" and not the only part touched in

Siddhaasana. Locking mechanisms are a little different both in

Siddhaasama and Vajrasaasna. In Sidhaasana it is the interior

curvature(for lack of a better word) that locks and in Vajrasana it is

the rear exterior. Did I get my point across clearly? In Vajraasana the

heel(rear exterior) directly locks over Guda. Maybe one can also touch

Perinium in Vajrasana, I have never tried that.

Please sit in normal Vajrasaana, ie with heels below either buttocks.

Now move your right foot so that the rear of the heel locks, into the

triangle like curvature near Guda. Please be warned that don't be

seated in this asana for too long, you might be injuring your

foot/ankle because of your body weight. Also note at the curvatures of

both heel(rear exterior) and anal opening.

This is how kanda-prapeedana(applying pressure on Sacrum with heel) is done in Vajraasana

I am no adept at Yoga either, it has been ages since I totally left Yoga to the winds!

warm regards,
