Guest guest
namaschandikaayai Dear Kumar, [ Please Note: I feel the birthtime should be pushed back by atleast 6 minutes, the time I am using for your information is 10:06] We do use the natal chart to judge the Annual Tithi Pravesha chart. The ATP chart for 2003 has Leo rising, which is in the 8th house from your natal chart. This is not auspicious and generally shows some kind of disappointment. The Hora Lord is Saturn, which in your ATP, is in the 8th from your natal moon forming kantaka shani which adds to the above mentioned position of ATP lagna w.r.t Natal lagna! Saturn is the 6th and 7th lord in the 11th house in Gemini, hence a functional malefic, and the same Saturn happens to be the Lagna lord in your natal chart. This is not a good indication and is a result of ATP lagna in dusthana from Natal lagna. Also, note that in ATP, Saturn is in A7 in Gemini [ also known as Mithuna (Maithuna) the sign signifying sex & relationship and symbolized by a couple in embrace], which is not good from the point of view of relationship(s)! Further, Saturn, being the 5th and 6th lord in Navamsa is in 7th house, showing some problems and disppointment in relationship with the opposite sex during that year. Most importantly, Saturn is the lord of Mrityu Pada (A8) in ATP Rashi, which shows manifestation of disappointments and dejections. Now, lets move to D24: With the new time, we have Scorpio rising. With the old time, we had Saggitarius rising, with 9th lord in lagna, and Saturn as lord of AL, should have given you success in education, which did not happen! With Scoroio rising, we have badhakesh Moon in Lagna, showing disturbance in education. Usually when badhakesh interferes, the reasons are not clear and inexplicable! This explains disturbance in education. Further, note, that badhakesh is not really weak, as it gets neechabhanga, with the position of Mars in kendra from Lagna and Moon! So, this badhakesh is strong! Interestingly, it is the Lagna lord giving strength to badhakesh, indicating, the native has himself to blame, and in rasi chart, this Mars is in Marana Karaka Sthana in the 7th house of relationships, in a sign ruled by Saturn, the hora lord! Next, we note that the 5th lord in Chaturvimsamsa is debilitated and is forming a dur-yoga with the 8th lord Mercury, and in Marana Karaka Sthana, all indicating the natives antipathy towards education! This combination also happens to aspect the 12th from AL, indicating loss of status or image, or simply put, failure. Look for periods of Jupiter & Mercury, especially Mercury as it gives the result of Jupiter. Next, analyze hora lord, Saturn. For higher education, like bachelors degree, consider the 9th house. Look at A9, to see success or failure. Here A9 is in Pisces, with Jupiter as its lord, whose avastha we have already examined, further, Saturn the hora lord is in 2nd from a AL, thereby ruining it! Regarding your questions on raja yoga, please note that the same, Mars is having a parivarthana with Rahu, this is definitely not good! Further, Mars is also the badhakesh in rasi ATP. The raja yoga, shows what your actions are, and what the native does, to analyze the result, always use the Arudha! I gave a presentation on this topic at the Boston Conference this year, which is available free for download. Do consider listening to it. Guest guest
namaschandikaayai Dear Kumar, Let me add a caveat here: The position of ATP Lagna in 8th from Natal Lagna doesnt spell doom all the time! The 8th house also signifies hard work and upaasana. Lets assume, if the ATP D24 lagna had indeed been Saggitarius, with all its positive indication, it would have given success after lot of hard work! Please also note, that Saturn the hora lord is Retrograde having lot of chesta bala, and in 6th from natal lagna, and in 12th in D24, indicates that the native did work hard, but met with failure! Incidentally, the trouble maker, Mercury in D24 is also lord of A7 in ATP rashi, and in 6th house in ATP Navamsa! Guest guest
Thanks a lot for your very clear explanation and for your time in analysing and writing it down). Firstly let me state that I am just a novice in astrology just beginning to understand the basics. Please pardon me if I happen to ask anything silly or make no sense. I have now understood the importance of Arudhas. I was under the impression that Raja Yogas play a role(if not important) in the outcome of what one does. There are few more queries that I have. (All w.r.t to the ATP chart not the natal chart) why will saturn 5th and 6th lord(being a functional benific lord) in navamsa show dissapointment in relationships? Is it because of his role in rasi chart and being the hora lord? Or is it merely because he is the 6th lord? why is the exhange between rahu and mars bad? (considering they are lords of 9th and 7th resp.) Is it that exchage of enemies is not good? Thanks Kumar P.
