There are some additions to earlier version as given below:

Added Yog-Pravesh and Nakshatr Pravesh Charts on event sheet.

Added Prashn sheet for KP/Nadi/Navmansh based on number.

Added Dashadhikari for native's chart on Vhelper sheet.

Added Yogi,Avyogi,Duplicate Yogi on Chart Sheet

Added Special lagnas like BL VGL PPL SL IL VL in all D-charts.

Added Aprakash grahas and Upgrahas in all D-charts.

Added House Position and Progression for all Vargas.

Added Aspect and Panchang for all on Vsphut sheet.

Added Shodhan,Pind,Nakshtr,Rashi,Year calculations in Ashtakvarg.

Added all AV calculations using Karan also.

Added results of Dughadi Muhurt.

Added Rudryamlokt-Dwi-Ghati-Muhurt given by Lord Shiv.

Added Sudarshan sheet in addition to existing Schakr sheet.

This included choice to change starting bhav,dasha years/Rashi and

Bhavesh based starting of all dasha and sub-dashas. It also has

Dasha-Pravesh chart with rashi and Navmansh for all Sub-dashas.

You can use them for any Rashi dasha when Maha-dasha will start

from same date-time after proper setting/verification.

Added bhavesh based sub dashas on Schakr sheet.

 

All Dashas are now based on Sun's Longitude instead of days/year.

So you can use Dasha-Pravesh-Charts even for Deh-Dasha!

 

This was created on win95. If you find problems on other versions of

windows,

Please copy some files in windows folder to respective folders on

your machine.

and find dashas

with respect to it.Also suitable for rectification trials.

 

CALCULATED KETU

Put X to use calculated Rashi of Ketu in Vargas.Default is opposite

to Rahu.

 

NO. OF LETTERS IN NAME 3 (For Example Anil = 3)

To find number of letters in name,use same rules as used in mantras.

This is needed for Din-Dasha (also known as Nity-Dasha).

 

Sudarshan Dasha

Years/sign 1 can be used to specify your own dasha years.

BHAV 10 specify the house from which you want to start

Sudarshan Dasha.

You can enter any longitude here from which Udu dashas will be

calculated.

For example,you may enter longitude of lagn or special nakshatr to

calculate dashas begining from it.

Compression factor may be entered to calculate Varsh-dasha,Tribhagi-

dasha etc.You can even compress the dasha to any desired length.

Please note that dasha-length * compression =120(for Vinshottary

Dasha)

Some typical values for compression are given below.

compression=1 Vinshottary dasha

compression=3 Tribhagi dasha

compression=120 Varsh Vinshottary dasha

DASHA CYCLE You can use it to find 1st,2nd etc. cycles of dasha.You

may also use 0,-1 etc. to find

dashas before birth but make sure that it is after 1900. It can be

useful if you want to check events before

your birth.If event and dashas are not in same time-period,you will

see only Maha-dashas.

 

Stronger Mangal/Ketu,Shani/Rahu,Shani/Ketu may be changed here.

All Dashas are now calculated as per exact longitude of Sun.

So this value should remain same.

 

Prashn

KP,Nadi,Navmansh based on number.You can enter any number and it will

automatically calculate lagn from it even if the number is more than

range.

The number must be a positive integer.

 

NIRYAN & SHOOL DASHA

 

Rasi of Relation to be entered in digits.

 

STRONGER RASHI can be seen for opposite/trinal/kendr Rashis.

You can use Suggested or Modify.

Modify Periods

You need to enter difference between shown years and years you want

to be used.

Exaltation and Debilitation signs for Rahu and Ketu can be entered in

place of shown signs.

 

FIND STRONG RASHI

ENTER RASHI PAIR ONE,TWO,THREE can calculate stronger of 2 rashis

based on

Jaimini Rules for 3 pairs you may enter.This option is useful if you

need to know strength

of any 2 rashis selected at random.

GRAH SUGGESTED ORDER will give order for mool dasha based on

their strength.

MODIFY ORDER may be used to provide your own order.

MODIFY YEAR can be used to specify your own dasha years.

 

Enter an x next to the chosen value if you want to change default

options in following cases.

Leaving these boxes unmodified, will use known rules to find default

values.

 

Modify Dasha Progression

You can choose to have CHAR/STHIR/DWISWABHAV Dasha progression for

NARAYAN DASHA and PARYAY DASHA.

 

Use Dasha Years = 9 This option sets dasha years to 9 for following

Rashi Dashas.

EVENTS SHEET

 

EVENT

0 indicates current date/time on your computer.

1-20 can be entered by you.You may also enter event description in

last column in place of

EVENT1,EVENT2 ETC.Please take care to have only one word for

description.If you wish,you may

combine words using_between 2 words.This will help proper retrival

after saving.

TRIAL Event can be used to find suitable dasha/transit/muhurt etc.

for native.You can change it

to find suitability of date/time.Also useful for Prashna-charts.

TAJIK CHART can provide you exact date/time for any choosen age as

per Ravi's Longitude.

Tithi Pravesh: You can findly monthly/early Tithi-Pravesh charts for

age used above.

BIRTH can be used as event to find various details like

Vedha,transit,etc.

You can even use any event as natal chart to see all dashas and

vargas set accordingly.

This is particularly useful in Tajik/Prashna/Tithi-Pravesh/Nakshatr-

Pravesh/Yog-Pravesh charts.

for example Event No. 26-Birth,25-Nakshatr-Pravesh,24-Yog-Pravesh, 23-

Tithi-Pravesh,

22-Tajik chart etc.

 

If you want Tajik chart for year enter age on data sheet in completed

years.

If you want for month,enter year+month/12 like " =37+4/12 "

Tithi-Pravesh/Nakshatr-Pravesh/Yog-Pravesh charts will be for

year/month only.

They will take Tajik date as basis for calculation.

TITHI - VARG

It shows Varg occupied by tithi.You can also experiment with Grah and

Bhav Tithis.Enter Tithi

at proper place to get vargas occupied by it.

BODY - VARG You may also use it for finding vargas for any longitude

you will enter.

You can also see Jyotirling table for Grah and Rashi.

 

PRASHN SHEET It provides longitude of planets and houses as per

placidus house system.

KP longitudes are as per KP ayanansh and others are as per

Lahiri.Based on lagn cusp,it finds

time on current date at place of birth which will give same lagn.It

calculates all house cusps and

grahas at that time. you can use 3 different numbers for using

kp/nadi/navmansh.

Events 31-50 are also based on these longitudes. So you can use any

varg chart exactly

as birth chart. use No. between 31-50 to set these charts as birth

chart instead of normal

Rashi-chart. This will not be useful for events as date is same as

birth-date. Longitude of

varg Chandr etc. will be used for all calculations including

Dashas.You will also see Vargas

of the selected vargas.This may be useful if you want to study

Navamansh-Dwadashansh etc.

20 Vargas for grah(9), bhavas(12), special lagnas(6+2), upgrahas(6)

and aprakash grahas(5).

It also provides Bhav placement of all( 9+12+8+6+5=40) in all 20

vargas.Drishty of 9 grahas

on 38 points with bal are given. 38 points are progressed over 38

(Indu and Varnad exclded)

as per degrees entered on data sheet and resultant years are

shown.Only PD-Hora is used.

Tithi,Yog,Nakshatr and Karan of all 38 points are given under

Panchang calculation.

They can be used just like moon panchang in natal predictions.

Sudarshan Dasha SHEET

It includes dashas starting from bhav and bhavesh. When sub dashas

are calculated,

lord of running parent dasha is used as starting point in bhaveshadi

dasha.

For bhavadi dasha same rashi is used.Lagn-ashtakvarg may be used for

these dashas.

Position of all planets at the start of all dashas/sub dashas for the

event are also given.

Sudarshan dasha can be started from Lagn, Lagnesh,Lagn-

pad,Bhav,Bhavesh,Bhav-pad,

Dashesh,Karak etc.However each reference will activate different

points at the time of event.

If dasha sign has malefics in both natal and transit,it gives bad

results during that period.

Ketu is probably an exception or benefic planet in this dasha.

 

Another variation to start Sub-Dashas from Lord of Parent-Dasha-Rashi

is given on SCHAKR.

 

Change in Dasha Years can be used for more researches. Shool dasha is

very similar

except that it uses 9 years. You can use any number based on planet

to see its impact.

Default 1 stands for Sun(self). 9 can be for Mangal.

Guru=3,Shani=8,Chandr=2 etc.

Rules for interpretation of Rashi dashas can be used. for malefic

dashas like Shanki(=8),

Shool dasha rules may be applied in all varg charts. If some dasha is

bad in

Narayan dasha for a particular event,same dasha is good in Shool

dasha for that event.

For example: Shool dasha of A10 sign will be bad for job and 2/7 from

A10 will be good!

starting dasha/sequence/progression/Strong rashi or grah.

You can set Paramayush/compress and even use 9 years fixed Dasha

length.

Starting Dasha and Direction can be changed for All Dashas and Sub

Dashas.

Kakshya details for all dashas upto 5 level are provided.

Paramayush=1 will set first cycle dasha length=1 Year.

compress=144 will give dasha-length of 1 year including second cycle

(dasha-length*compress=144).This is applicable to all rashi dashas.

You should use only one of them as per your need/choice.

You can even find Lagnamsaka Dasa by starting dasha from

Navamansh Lagn Rashi.Padanadamsa dasa by starting dasha from

Arudh Lagn of Rashi in Navamansh varg.

upto 6th level

sheets.

This sheet includes calculations for various dashas and other sheets.

It is only for use in Program and provide understanding for

Programmers.

Important Instructions:

 

(1) Ketu is always opposite to Rahu in all vargas.

This is different from other softwares where

D16,D20,D24,D30,D40,D45,D-5,D-6,D-8 AND D2 have them

togather.

If you want them togather put x against calculated ketu

option.

 

(2) Dasha dates are EXACT Based on Sun's longitude.

 

(3) Bhavadi and Bhaveshadi Sudarshan dasha is not included on

Report

Sheet. Use Lagn-Ashtakvarg for Bhavadi Dasha and Respetive

Bhavesh-Ashtakvarg For Bhaveshadi Dasha,Antar etc.

 

(4) If you corrupt something,exit without saving else re-

install.

 

(5) Change in Lagna longitude will help you in rectification

trials

but original time will remain same.After you are

certain,you can

adjust time(=change*4 approx.) to suit your calculations.

You may also use it for relocation studies by adjusting

longitude(=change approximatly) accordingly.

Relocation is however not part of vedic-

jyotish.

 

(6) Dasha calculation for Shani in 108 years and shukr in 60

years dasha

includes Abhijeet.If your birth dashas are of these

planets,it will give

approximate results. All other cases will be correct.

 

(7) Prashna/current time will change with system clock.If you

want to

use it,copy date/time shown manually to some other place

and set

the chart to that event.

 

(8) Enter your data only on DATA, EVENT AND TRANSIT SHEETS in

BOLD areas only.

You do not need to enter any data if you just need dashas

from

Rashi chart.So if you do not know,just leave it unchanged.

It will do correctly.

 

(9) If you see a lot of #NAME in most places, put the

directory containing swedll32.dll

file in path or copy it in any directory in path.If you

can't use open/save buttons,do not

bother.Just enter data manually and every thing will work

fine.You need to register

comdlg32.ocx manually to use those options.However if you

are using win 9x you

will have no problems.Installation will automatically take

care of everything.

 

(10) IT WILL NOT TAKE DATES BEFORE 1-1-1900 (unless you modify

it).

 

All calculations are correct upto seconds.Moon may be off by upto 5

seconds.

This program is based on swiss ephemeris and needs MSExcel 97. Visit:

http://www.astro.ch/swisseph for licence details of swiss ephemeris.

You may download ephemeris files for better accuracy from this site.

 

You can add your own calculations as there is no hidden code.

This is a freeware and open source/free code program.

You can freely copy/modify/distribute it for non commercial use.

 

You are welcome to contribute/share your code for the program.
