I am an Indian born just compleated my Master's in Computer Science working as

an IT professional in MO, USA. I am running the mahadasha of Guru-Shani and

have a Gajkesri yog in lagna.

I am earning 72K but I have seen people with Gajkesri yog do just a bit TOO

good. I think there is some weekness in my horoscope because Gajkesri yog is

formed with Chandra being lord of 11th house and Guru lord of 4th and 7th. It

should be extraordinarily good.

I would appreciate little time from the experts. Is it that I will become really

big some day because I dream about it all the time OR my horoscope is not storng

enough to become a famous person ?

Om Gurave Namah

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Matim,
I think I can give some pointers as to the question you've raised re:
Gaja-Kesari yoga in your chart. Having looked at your chart,
I would have the following comments to make:
1. The Jupiter/Moon combination is indeed a dhana-yoga as well as
GK yoga, and will give wealth and reputation at a point in life which I
will give shortly. But first keep in mind that when Shani is in any
kendra position, especially in the lagna, then the native experiences
alternating rise and fall in life and a general delay in the
fructification of yogas which may join it. Saturn as lord of the
6th will produce some obstacles and brief periods of struggle prior to
the time that the GJ yoga shall fructify.
2. Yogas which form in the 1st, 7th, 3rd and 9th houses will
fructify in the old age, i.e. in the latter part of life depending on the
longevity.
3. You also have a strong Raja yoga as well as Dharma-karmadhipati
yoga forming in the 10th house involving 9th lord Venus and 10th lord
Mercury. This is an excellent combination, the results of which
will come to manifest in the youthful period of life. Thus you are
already successful in career at the age of 24. Yogas, especially
Raja-yoga, forming in the 2nd, 8th, 4th, and 10th houses will bring their
results into fruition in the period up to age 36, i.e. in the
youth.
4. You will note that the Jupiter/Saturn/Moon combination is
also a Raja-yoga, yet these planets will bring results of a different
nature than the ones forming in your 10th house and will be the main
cause of the reputation gained in life (note they form in the lagna, and
in the 10th from Arudha lagna). Venus/Mercury in the 10th, with
Venus dispositing Mars and Sun, bring success through technology and
engineering and working in such areas in the early parts of life.
The yoga coming to manifest in the latter part of life involves a
spiritual and humanitarian type of involvement. This is strongly
suggested by the combination of AK Moon with 5th lord Saturn in the most
important kendra (lagna), which is a Raja-yoga according to
Jaimini. So, considering the changeable landscape of
socio-political-economic scenarios in the coming decades, it is
quite possible that at some point in life you will change careers, with
the incoming career in the latter part of life bringing your spiritual,
philosophical, and humanitarian attributes to the surface. Jupiter
will make you a teacher and strong proponent of spiritual and religious
values in this world.
5. Yet another important Raja-yoga for spirituality as an ultimate
focus of your life coming in the old age, is the position of AK Moon in
the lagna, in trinal relationship with AMK Sun in the 9th house.
The importance of this and the previously mentioned Raja-yoga cannot be
overstated, with the result sure to happen at the prescribed juncture in
life.
6. Since PK Mercury replaces PiK Mars in this chart (i.e, they
occupy the same degree with Mercury being lower in minutes of arc), we
can expect that this change of identity with respect to career (Me
is the 10th lord also), will take place from the 57th year onward.
See the schedule of Vimsottari dasa periods for the timing of this.
The Naiskargika dasa (natural period) of the Sun will also be in progress
at that time, and commencing from the 50th to the 70th year.
So, I hope this sheds some light on your question. You may write to
me on this list, or privately, if any other questions come up.
Best wishes,
Robert
What is confusing me is - I am going through Mahadasha of Guru and the Gajkesri
yoga is actually formed by Guru itself, but if Gajkesri is gonna fructify in
later part of life this means it will give start giving results in Shani
mahadasha. Also, the Dharma-karmadipati yoga will give results now and not in
the mahadasha of Mercury which starts at the age of 56.
Are the fructification of Yogas and 'Mahadasha of planets making those Yoga in
the horoscope' totally orthogonal?
Also, when you say you have a Raj yoga does that means I have chances of going
into politics. I have always wanted to - though it might be early to think
about it but at the age of 35-40 I want to be in politics, is my horoscope
strong enough to let me there. Can I be Chief minister ;). Why I dream so much
- is it because of Chandra in the lagna ?
I sincerely appreciate your time.
