interpreting transit in D charts

Dear members,

How to apply transiting planets in D charts? For example- if D 10,

lagna is Scorpio and Exalted moon is in Vrishbha. Now as we know,

saturn is transiting in Cancer, Jupiter in Libra and Rahu in Pisces.

Now, will we apply these in D 10 as Saturn in Cancer or we will take D

10 for saturn's current transit and apply the trasit for

interpretation. In other words, do we consider, that for the example

above, sade sati in D 10 over(While reading, Deva Keralam, it sounded

to me like this only).

After the appearance of your earlier posting in respect of Devakeralam, we,

three people have been going through the three Books published by late Sri

Santhanam of Devakeralam to find what you have stated. We are yet to find any

such sounding verses. On the contrary, all verses in the work are given for

Lagnas and not a verse I could find given for Navamsa or other Varga kundalis.

Devakeralam also does not mention nadiamsa for Navamsa. Kindly quote those

verses where you are finding interesting or new methods so that other can also

look in and try to understand.

Namaste Prafulla,

In my experience, transits w.r.t Moon of navamsa and dasamsa are quite meaningful.

You can look at the rasi position of a transit planet and judge it w.r.t. the

divisional chart position of natal Moon.

In fact, if you are careful, you can look at transits in divisional charts too.

I did some research on correlating (a) the transits in rasi chart with natal

divisional charts and (b) the transits in divisional charts with natal rasi

chart. I presented a little bit of that in my book. Let me give one more

pointer today.

Take George W Bush's rasi chart. There is a powerful raja yoga between lagna

lord Moon at 23Vi38 and 9th lord Jupiter at 25Vi02. Now, consider the *dasamsa

transit* of Jupiter on Nov 3, 2004 morning when Bush won an election. Jupiter

was transiting 14Vi21. But, if you look at his divisional longitude in dasamsa,

he was transiting exactly 23Vi38 at 10 am on Nov 3, 2004!! Thus D-10 Jupiter in

transit *exactly* touched rasi Moon of natal chart, when Kerry accepted defeat!

Not only that, look at the reverse link. In the natal D-10, Jupiter at 10Cp24

and Mars at 12Cp26 give a raja yoga and Jaya yoga. The transit Jupiter of rasi

chart was at 14 deg and aspecting natal dasamsa Mars reasonably closely (14 deg

to 12.5 deg). Jupiter was placed such that his rasi chart longitude had a close

aspect on natal dasamsa longitude of Mars and his dasamsa chart longitude had

an unbelievably close conjunction with natal rasi Moon. Moon and Mars are the

two planets involved in raja yogas with Jupiter in natal rasi/dasamsa charts.

By correlating the longitudes of natal and transit planets in rasi/divisions,

you can see some important events. God willing, I will talk about my findings

in greater detail when (if) the right time comes.
