Shlokas on understanding Navamsha along with 7th house

I am planning to translate an article from shri Sreenadh on

understanding Navamsha,having classical references.

I am just giving couple of shlokas for our understanding from the same.

 

Madana Vashagathe Mriduscha Chandrey Tridasha Gurorgunavan Jitendriyascha

Athimridurathikarmakricha Sourey Bhavathi Grihesthamayasthithemshakey

If 7th from Lagna Rashi is Karka and has amshaka of Chandra,Husband

will be Lustful/pleasure loving and will have mardava or mildness for

mind as well as body.If 7th from Lagna is Meena or Dhanu and has

amshaka of Jupiter, husband will be a man of virtues and a

jitendriya(one who has conquered indriyas or desires).

 

Asthe Jeevamshake Tathra Bhargavena Nireekshithe

Ya Jatha Tham Vijaneehi Yonimanonjakanithwam

 

If seventh from Lagna Rashi has amshaka of Jupiter and is aspected by

Shukra,wife will have beautiful Yoni.

 

Now it is very easy to understand this.7TH Bhava as per Parashra is

for Spouse.Navamsha is the amsha for spouse matters.

 

Now when we link these two - we can see things with great clarity.Thus

,Vargas have to be read along with Rashi Bhavas.

 

In the past astrologers used to draw amshaka outside Rashi

Chakra,pointing to the complementary nature.
