Guest guest
I just happened to note the following text & reproduced an extract of the full e-mail written by Mr. PVR Narasimha in reply to some ongoing discussion... Quote "The Navagraha Homam on Saturday morning was particularly excellent. At the Poornahuti time, there was a very bright fire. It suddenly became unbelievably hot for a few seconds. I have seen many homas with an even bigger fire, but I never felt THAT kind of heat. Even at the Chandi Homam on the previous night, fire was bigger but not as hot at all. I mean, there is no comparison. I never felt that kind of heat near any fire in any homam in my entire life. Not just me, everyone standing next to fire found it unbelievably hot for a few seconds. It was so hot that we all just took a step back involuntarily. Also, one of the pictures of the fire from that time looks a bit like Sun riding a chariot of horses. We believe that Sun god actually came in the fire at the time of Poornahuti. The whole weekend was actually quite blissful. The rituals were conducted by priests headed by Swami Sadasiva Sivachariar, head priest of Kalikambal temple at Chennai. All the experiences show that it is actually possible to get the gods in fire when a homam is done sincerely." Unquote The above narrated experience of Mr. Narasimha is line with my earlier posting on efficacy of mantras. Further, if one were to cast a horoscope of that moment, analyse it properly, say the 9H, 12H, 4H must be well placed. Sun must be in 10H technically. Ofcourse Sun is in Libra, hence debilitated, must have been in 10H with directional strength. Jupiter & Moon must have also been well placed. I am not sure if the homan was "timed" i.e. with proper Muhurat. In a nutshell the planetary positions must have been excellent. If one were to apply the astro_rules for the upcoming Diwali, the puja timings of ( applicable to India ) 12:25 - 15:20 & 20:20 - 22:15 hrs are the best. Cast horoscope for that moment and see the results for yourself. See 2H, 11H, Venus, LL...etc.. positions. For any good puja time, Moon & Jupiter & Venus* should be "protected" i.e should be properly placed. ( Note * for Goddess ) I would request Mr. PVR Narasimha to send the probable date + time + place of that event for my own analysis. with regards, sreeram srinivas sreeram64 (AT) satyam (DOT) net.in
Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Sreeram, Usually whenever Narasimhaji does any homam or puja he searched for very good muhurtha and does the sankalpam exactly at that time. Yes it would interesting to look at the chart of the time he did sankalpam for this one.
