Dear Group,

What follows is an email from Dymock Brose, who each month presents a

case study or "test" to the community of astrologers.

Any and all astrologers are invited to work the test and the correct

answer is presented the following month, along with the names and

techniques of the astrologers who solve the test (if any).

These tests are not competitions but rather opportunities to apply

your astrological system of choice and, through that, refine your

technique and analytical ability.

I thought members of this group might find it interesting to take a

look at the current test and see what they can come up with.

You can get on Dymocks mailing list by just sending him an email

requesting to be included. If you join his list then be sure to send

your results to him and not to this group. If you just want to work

the test without joining the group then send your answers here.

Many different astrologers from many different traditions participate

in the tests and, although no tradition clearly stands out, the Vedic

practitioners seem to be correct most often. I hope you find it

interesting.

The test follows:

-----------------

To all astrologers:

This Test, No.111, is again a simulation of an astrologer doing a

Forecast for a client and trying to find the most dramatic and

important occurrence in the life of the woman concerned during the

year specified. Put yourself in the astrologer's place and see what

you can find.

Birth Data: Woman born 7 July 1952, 9:33 pm CST +6, at Dallas, Texas,

32N47, 96W48 (Ascendant 20Aq21, MC 4Sg27,Moon 24Cp44).

Period of the Forecast, 7 July 1987 -- 7 July 1988.

The Test is to find

(1) the most DRAMATIC AND IMPORTANT event in her life during that

year, and

(2) the DATE of its occurrence (a specific date -- not just a period

of weeks).

Your answer should be supported by some astrological data to show it

is not just a guess. Any type of Astrology is acceptable --

Traditional, Modern, Uranian, Horary, Vedic, Chinese, etc.

The Test is open to everyone -- no costs of any sort. All who send an

attempt at solving the problem will receive the final Report with any

correct answers by respondents, and also a suggested method of solution.

Email your answer to me (dymock) with its astrological

basis before the closing date 5 Nov 2005. If you belong to a list,

DO NOT SEND TO THE LIST. You have a fortnight to decide your answer,

but please don't leave it to the last couple of days.

Add a "Request a Read Receipt" (from the Tools menu) and you will know

whether or not I have received your e-mail (I acknowledge all responses).

At the suggestion of a participant, these Exercises are now being sent

as BCC which does not disclose the addresses of individual recipients.

Best wishes to all,

Dymock.
