I am married for 6 years (I am 35 years old) but yet to have any children. I went for BASIC step in artificial insemination few months ago (not IVF) that was unsuccessful. However, the doctor said, success rate for this method as such is minimal. I have decided to go for IVF next year. I would appreciate if someone can look at my chart and tell me if my chart is indicative of any children at all. Will I be lucky or just disappointments in store? I am loosing hope. I do not have my husband's correct birth details, so I am just providing my details. DOB : 3rd June 1970 TOB : 21:15 (9:15 pm IST) POB : Calcutta, India 1st house - Makara Lagna-No planets 2nd house - Rahu 3rd house - no planets 4th house - Sani(debilitated), Budh(atmakaraka) 5th house - Sun, Moon(exalted)-Vrishabha Raasi 6th house - Venus, Mars (in parivartana with Budh) 7th house - No planets 8th house - Ketu 9th house - no planets 10th house - Guru(retrograde) 11, 12th house - no planets Some of the details that I know are : My lagna is vargottama. I am currently running Guru Mahadasha, Sani Antardasha. Guru in my raasi and navamsha chart is lord of 3 and 12th houses and posited in 10th house and is retrograde. Sani is lagna lord, debilitated in raasi in 4th house and exalted in navamsha in 10th house. I would appreciate your responses. YOu can also try to please Jupiter. On the other hand, if you let me know when exactly your marriage took place,(during which dasa and antardasa) ( i am not in a position to take out the detailed dasa chart or the varga charts now), probably, I can help more, because your 7th lord is combustedbut in mool trikone, and hence, you had to wait for some other strength such as the dasa of the 7th Lord coupled with the antardasa of either rahu (movement) or that of venus (vivah karaka. On the other hand, the venus is being aspected by your 12th Lord Jupiter who is also the present dasa lord. The aspects by the debilited ascendant lord also may give you mixed results. It is almost sure that you will have a son but another progeny, perhaps a daughter is in doubt. The 5th house lord Venus Yogakarka went to marnkarka sthana and joined Badhaka rashi lord Mars which is Gk for chart also . As you are born on Amvasya the sun and moon both are very close and moon lost its power which is Putrakarka for your chart. And arudha for 9th house from sun fall in 12th from Sun. Positive point Moon and Jupiter both are in Vargootma Navamsh . Lagna lord are free from neecha as in its uccha i.e libra Navmansh. Hope In next year you have very good chance start from Feb 2006. Take blessing of your own Guru . Aspect of Jupiter (rashi) on Putra bhava in transit. Will give some relief to you. Jup: 2006-March-05 - 2006-May-06 Above mentioned time looks very promising for concieving a child. It must be pointed out that Venus, 5th lord, Jupiter, naisargika putra karaka are in Vayu tatwa rasis and chara putra karaka, Moon is combust. Venus is also in marana karaka sthana! In my humble opinion there is a need to increase Jala tatwa, primary principle behind pro-creation! As a simple remedy, I would suggest praying to Mother Maha Lakshmi by offering a glass of milk daily and you and your spouse sharing it as prasadam Incidentally, both annual Tithi Pravesa and Tajaka show medical intervention(IVF). If you are indeed going for IVF, please consider the above mentioned time and use the intermediate time to remedy lack of Jala tatwa.
