Based on the information you provided that the twins were born in your nakshatra, you are likely to be affected. Chapter 89 of Brihat Parasara Hora prescribes remedial measures. Remedial measures are prescribed and that is why I suggested that you consult a learned priest who is well versed in remedial measures so that the evil effects could be nullified.
