I had written, that when Moon is in Dhanus with SP is in Meena, quakes will occur between 9th and 11th October.October.A quake of 5.6 intensity occured in Phillipines today evening. A magnitude 5.6 earthquake IN CATANDUANES, PHILIPPINES has occurred at:13.44N 124.96E Depth 30km Mon Oct 10 11:08:29 2005 UTCTime: Universal Time (UTC) Mon Oct 10 11:08:29 2005 Time Near Epicenter Mon Oct 10 19:08:29 2005 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) Mon Oct 10 07:08:29 2005 I anticipate some more quakes in Pacific rim area before Moon enters Makara on 11th. There were 3 E Q's of over 5.5 Intensity on 5th and subsequently on Saturday 9th there was a major EQ hitting Pakistan and India.(7.6)This was followed by 8 major aftershocks of over 5.5 intensity.Over 20,000 people are reported to have lost their lives and great many over 50,000 injured.I know that a lot more work needs to be done in pin pointing area of such event . But would like to give some facts which might be useful in your studies. 1. The recent earth quake in the indian sub continent is due to the Indian plate moving northward at the rate of 1.6 inch per year and colliding with Eurasian plate. This plate is still moving. 2. There are very minor tremors (<3 on the Richter)which occurs on an average of thousands per day recorded by seismographs. Usually not felt physically. 3.Tremors (between 3 t0 3.9) occur on an average of 49000 per year. Felt indoors as a heavy truck hitting against a wall. 3.Tremors (between 4 to 4.9) occur on an average of 6200 which is felt nearly by every one. very light damage. 4. Tremors (between 5 to 5.9) averages 800 a year. Moderate Damage 5. tremors (between 6 to 6.9) averages 120 a year.This may result in heavy structural damages, Land slides rock falls. 6. Tremors (between 7 to 7.9) averages 18 a year. Effects are severe. 7. Tremors (>8.0 )averages 1 per year. very serious damages. SOURCE: USA today. so by using above statistics it is imperative that the tremers are almost occuring every day. instead concentrate on the ones that are greater than 5.0 on richter scale and try to identify the region that might be involved. That may be help ful instead of making a generic statement that Quakes will occur somewhere. Also I should admit that I am not an expert in these things and I am not trying to reject your hypothesis. but wanted to help you with some facts.
