Did anyone read a Nadi Grantha called "Karma Vipakam". If you did, please write

to me privately, as I have few doubts on that.

Dear Nemani,

'Karma Vipakam' is not a Nadi Grantha at all. It is book by

Sayanacharya about the sins of previous births that causes diseases in

this life and the remedies for that. A good amount of the slokas from

that book you can find in Presnamarga as well, while dealing with the

same subject.

Dear Raghunatha Rao,

Dear Nanmai,

In my previous mail I said that 'Karma vipakam' is not a nadi text

but a book by Sayanacharya. But I know about one more 'Karma vipaka

samhitha' which is also called 'Nakshatra charana phala dersika'.

Considering each nakshatra pada it tells us 3 things in general:

1) Deads of previous birth

2) Their effects on this birth (such as not having child)

3) The remedial measures that should be taken.

As you said it is somewhat similar to a Nadi text, but remember it

gives predictions for each pada (3 deg 20 min) of a Stellar division

only.
