Namaste Ramesh and Jyotishas,

I did some study on Kuta's system of matching charts. After

taking guidance from my Guru Pt. Sanjay Rath, He told me to present my

studies in the upcoming conference in Washington,DC this Oct 1st

weekend.

My findings from all the tradition knowledge given in various

texts is that, The Kuta systems is basically to remove the marakas to

marriage in an individuals chart. Primarily the killers to marriage

should be identified in a given natal chart and the appropriate Kuta

should be sought to remove the malady. The Kuta system of matching is a

form of remedial measures.

I request learned members to give a critical review of my understanding

from the texts and traditional knowledge at the conference.

Dear Sanjay P,

Thank you for asking. I have very limited experience in this field. I however

tend to agree with your observation. After I posted the worksheet I came across

birth details of a couple that had separated. The scores on the worksheet gave

very good compatibility and from what I was told they had good compatibility as

long as it lasted (3 years). The boy has kuja dosha from Lagna and Venus and the

nil scores on that count did not impact the overall scores appreciably. Girl

also has Rahu in 2nd from UL (though there is no information about another

affair).

According to the boy the scores were checked on the traditional point system too

prior to the marriage and they got excellent ratings. I am therefore inclined to

agree that checking of markas to marriage is of greater importance than the

assessment based on a gross number.

Thank you, Yes, this is exactly what I am trying to emphasis at the

conference. The matching based on just the numbers is useless, Until

understood correctly the meaning of each system and categorising them

meaningfully.

You will see couples even with low score doing pretty good in their marriage.

If you do not mind or not in any restriction, Can you please give the data of

the couple you just mentioned.

Kuta system of matrimonial matching is popularly known

as Dasa Poorutham in Tamil speaking Dakshin Bharat.I

have seen in Jyothida gragha chinthamani that there

were 48 different types of Kuta agreements. The root

es of this system where from it has come ? The answer
