Re:Lost my job; if anyone could help...

Dear list members,

 

I lost my job on Tuesday afternoon and I am in a very

bad situation. I had just put in four weeks in this

job and I was laid off because the project was shelved

off.

 

My domestic situation is such that I need the job

right away. I have got tin touch with my previous

employer as they could not find a right replacement

when I left the company. So the position is still

vaccant. I am very optimistic that he would recall me.

I had tipped off my previous employer last morning; so

far he hasn's got in touch with me. I had left them on

a very good note, and they had wished me good in my

career. However, as he has not got in touch with him,

I am panicking. I really don't know what to do at this

juncture. This noon, I again intend to get in touch

with him.

 

If some of you could help me in this hour, it owuld be

really be very great; If a prashan chart could be

casted and somebody could let me know whether my

previous employer would recall me, it would really be

very helpful.

 

Time of asking prashna 9.26 AM (Toronto local time)

June 1, 1966

Time: 5.35 AM

Baraut (40 Kms North of Delhi)

Here are my 2 cents:

 

Such usual gyrations pertaining to career as job loss or job gain

should be delineated from D-10 narayan dasa and Annual Tithi Pravesh

charts, as per our shiksha guru PVR Narasimha Rao.

 

So I am going to use these techniques on your chart.

 

Typically there are job changes during the D-10 narayana dasa of

Mrityu pada (A8) and upapada (UL) in D-10. A8 is the manifested

anxiety related to karma whereas UL is the manifested loss related to

karma. Not sure yet how to judge whether the job change is created

under good (such as a better opportunity) or bad (such as a layoff)

circumstances. But A8 and/or UL D-10 narayana dasa without fail has

given job changes in the charts I have studied. In your case Sg has

A8 along with Sa. Sg antardasa started from 2nd December, 04. It had

to give job change(s) and you got them. This Sg dasa will end on

November 3rd, 2005.

 

To fine tune when the job change(s) will occur, we will need to use

Annual Tithi Pravesh (ATP) chart. Given that you haven't provided the

date of leaving your previous job, I am not even going to go into

explaining that job change. Let me try to explain your recent layoff

on September 20th with ATP.

 

In ATP for year 2005, hora lord is Saturn. One of the key rules of

predicting through ATP is that an event (good or bad) will come to

pass mostly if the hora lord for the year associates with the event

causing planets. For ATP we use Tithi Ashtottari dasa. You were

running Venus dasa at the time of layoff. It is posited in 8th house

(of anxiety, uncertainties) with Rahu. So in the dasa of Venus, it

will give results of Rahu and vice versa. Rahu is co-lord of UL in Aq

in ATP D-10. Also, Saturn, the hora lord, is giving argala to Aq.

Therefore, the hora lord is promoting the cause of Aq that holds UL.

This alongwith the fact that Rahu is conjoined the lord of A8, Venus,

is sufficient to give a job loss and the resulting anxiety.

 

Hope this explains you why you lost the job when you did.

 

When will you find a new job? This is the question, I cannot answer

with certainty (since I myself don't know how to time this). However,

I have heard people say that A5 tends to play a role in giving a new

job (a new beginning). I don't know more than this. Hopefully, a

knowledgeable member would comment on this.

thanks a ton for your help reema; i really appreciate

doing such an indepth analysis. I had left my old job

on August 19. If any other member could help me out in

knowing when I would likely to get the new job, it

would really help me a lot. I am getting in touch with

my previous employer, but he is not forthcoming on the

issue; at the same time, he hasn't said no...so i am

hoping against all hopes.

Manoj,

 

For what it is worth, your next antardasa is of Cp, starting from

November 3rd, 2005. That one would be quite alright wrt job. You will

see some stability in that antardasa. There might be some anxiety,

but the anxiety will not manifest into something bad or unfortunate.

So just wait out this bad phase in anticipation of the good times

ahead.

hard with my old boss as regards the job.

In SHD (Shasti..) it is Sun-Sat

reason why we have to rely on conditional dashas to fine tune
