moolatrikona moon in 8th house (vrishaba)

Dear Gurus

I am a beginner to astrology and have a question which

has been bothering me for sometime.

Questions: What is the effect of a planet in moolatrikona position

but stationed in a bad house ?

For example, what are the effects of moolatrikona Moon in the 8th

house (vrishaba) and moolatrikona Mercury in the 12th house (virgo) ?

Are the planets affected by the bad house position or are they strong

because of the moolatrikonal strength ?

I realise that moon is in Marana Karaka Sthana.

Let us follow his advice and analyze your query.

You have asked what will be the effects when a planet

in mooltrikona is placed in a bad house.

Let us make it simple

A person has a good house ( Mooltrikona ) but bad

location ( Placement). In natural circumstances there

will be no problem untill the bad company

participates.

I explain the same with a real life example:

Person : A

He has Dhanur lagna with Mars in eighth house. Mars is

in debilitation. He suffers from bad temper and Mars

( Rakta) or blood often flows out of the body in even

simple accidents. This i have seen many times.

Person: B

Born in Mithuna he has Mars in eighth house. His

Saturn aspects this Mars from second. He met only four

accidents in life. They were almost front hits but

this person never suffered from blood loss.

Interestingly he never suffered from blood flowing

out. He also had bad temper but he controls it. While

in case 'a' person cannot control his anger.

In moon's case where it may be placed in Taurus in

eighth house, the case me be different. Moon

represents the thoughts process. In power it makes a

person thoughtful. In eighth house of loss it

indicates hyperactivity of the brain. Depending on

other conditions this may turn up bad or good.

There are other cases of powerful Venus in twelfth

house. Here is an exception where 'Chandra Kala Nadi'

says that if Sun and Mercury are in lagna and Venus in

twelfth house then it forms a Rajyoga.

In normal life Significations indicated by planets

gets an excess activity when placed in houses of

loss.But they do not turn up bad.

Make a wild guess about Jupiter in twelfth house.

What will happen when Ketu is there.

I may be wrong too. I ask Gurujans to correct my

understanding.

Dear Alokji

First, thank you for clarifying this issue in detail.

My confusion was mainly because moon is supposed to be in Marana

Karaka Sthana in the 8th house. So what happens if he is exalted

(moolatrikona degree). And I have read elsewhere (Svoboda's book)

that a planet in moolatrikona is always beneficial but a planet which

is exalted may be good or bad.

I am basically still a baby in astrology , but ,i can comment on

this topic because , i myself have these combination which u have

mentioned.

I have moon in the eighth house , making me very very though ful ,

worried , tension , and hyperactivity of the brain , due to which i

have skin Diesease called Psorsis which isrelated to stress , tension

and mind.I am a very quick thinker , and alway think in logic and ideas.

I also have venus in the twelth house , and sun and mercury in the first house ,

I dont known about that , becuase i am still struggling to settle my carrer ??

Dear prashant,

You are born with Kumbha Lagna with Jupiter, Sun and

Mercury in the lagna. Interestingly none of the

planets is combust. Moon in the intelligent rashi of

Virgo in eighth house will make you very sensitive.

Jupiter in Kumbha relates one to engineering,

technical work, tachingand trading activity. You would

have a good progress if your fifth house has not been

hamphered by Saturn and Ketu. In march you have

entered Pisces period. (If your time of birth is

right).

thanks for the reply , yes ,i am very sensitive , due

towhich i have suffered enough , but it has tough me a lot of

things , as rahu being in 11th house make me very easy to make friends

, and due to sensitivity i have fallen in trouble , but i dont known i

have learnt a lot from this .

Rahu dasa was very bad for me , suffered a lot , but i feel it was blessing in disguse .

yes my time of birth is correct, I just got married on 19th may

2005 , and rite now i am in austrlaia , trying to get a break as

database administrator . Tommorw at 3:00pm australia time is my

interview for a junior position .i HOPE I GET IT , IT IS VERY IMP FOR

i forgot to write , i am live in australia , brisbane,I offer

water to shiv ji laminated photo every moring after bath , i pray to

him every day ,but as there is no temple here so i do it home . When i

was in India ,i used to go to temple every day and offer

milk+water+black sesemi seeds, i used to try my best not to miss any

day. Did it with all my strenght and devetion , and i think only due to

this Lord shiv ji has blessed me to come out of the trouble time

during that days which was very very bad, difficult , and painful.I

think u can read that from my horoscope.

I will chant th mantra u gave me ,when should i start , and how many times should i chant.??

Dear Prashant,

Please do not feel offended. There is something wrong

with your prayers. Shivji should not be offered water

inside the house. This fastens the accumlation of

negative powers near the house. This may be the root

cause of problems.

Please follow the mentioned things:

1. Do nto offer water to shivlinga inside the house.

2. Just offers flowers, insence and sandal paste.

3. Do not keep shivji alone. Worship his family along

with him.

4. You can start the mantra on any monday of brighter

lunar half.

You have not told me about your profession. It seems i

Ok i gave my interview yesterday , and it was good , i hope i get a call .

Secondly , alokji , i have a laminated Picture of Shivji , and it is not a ling

or anything murthi.I also worship lord Ganesha , and my deity mother(Kul devi)

, and and Lord krishna.I offer

insence every day.

As i stay out of India it is very difficult to get temples here specially in Australia.

Regarding my Carrer , I am a computer professional , I have worked in india for

4 years as system admin, and then came to australia to do my master;s.I

completed my Master's , and am working here in Australia .

Rite now looking for a break in the area of Database Administration , for which

i just gave my interview yesterday. I have very little or no exp in dba work so

very very difficult to get a job in this area.

but i am working hard ,and hoping and praying to get the job in dba area soon

Namaste Prashant,

Why dont you buy a Shiva Linga and do the abhisheka?. You can

make it yourself from mud from a river or Lake side and dispose of the

Linga after worship. Shiva in Linga roopa is better than

photographs. You can do normal worship to pictures.

You can continue doing what you are doing. Perhaps some pujari can

guide you, and help you to get a linga and teach you how to

worship it daily. Even then, you can keep the picture behind

the linga when offering water. There is no problem with offering

water "at home", and only good will come of it. Many devout

followers of Shankaracharya offer water at home as a part of

the panchayatana puja which was passed down by their acharyas.

If you feel uncomfortable with any parts of the external worship,

remember that each of us already have a linga in our hearts. You

can silently meditate, offering water to it.

With regards to debts, let me quote a few words of Kanchi

Mahaswamigal:

"Vibhuti is prepared by burning cow-dung-cake. Lakshmi resides

in it [the cow], and therefore, the wearing of Vibhuti on one's

forehead gives one wealth....Therefore, everybody should start

wearing Vibhuti, so that we may become free from all debts."

This a general prescription, but it is a simple for us to follow.
