Guest guest
Dear Members, "Char Atma Karka" or AK - The term, which is known by almost everybody here i.e. "The Graha which has moved Farthest in a sign for a chart." There are two most popular understanding about AK which persists with many members 1) AK is `The Representative Graha of the Soul or Atma' 2) AK is `The Atma Itself' I have observed that Shri ParthaSarathy has very strongly opposed the above said understandings at 2/3 occasions. I also agree to that and want to explain the concept as I have understood it. If there are flaws in that or my understanding is wrong from the very base, I will be happy to correct it provided it sinks in. As Thakur Shri Ramakrishna & many other Saints have frequently preached that it is extremely difficult for most people to get complete rid of Ahamkara (Ego, "I" Consciousness). Ahamkara or Ego always remains however much one tries to run away. This Ahamkara is nothing but the Atma's identification with body. That is why they have said that if this Ego has to remain then let that rascal be the Servant of Lord. Let it be the ego of a Bhakta or Devotee. Let it be the Ego of Gyani. Thus, The AK Planet can never show Atma directly but what it shows is the Ahamkara. It is the representative of Ahamkara or ego which binds the Atma to the Shareera. It is the Manifestation of Bondage with Maya for the pure soul. That is why we have learnt the concept of `Ishta Devata' who sits in the 12th from AK and the sole objective of that Ishta Devata is to Destroy (12th) the `Ahamkara' and hence to merge the soul in Brahman. Till the Ahamkara (AK) is not destroyed, there is No real "Soham", nor "Aham Brahmasmi" but once the AK is destroyed completely by Ishta, it is truly `Soham' and as Thakur has said from his own experiences that when in Samadhi, even the trace of Ahamkara is completely destroyed, the Soul merges in the infinite & what happens then is impossible to describe.
