Guest guest
Dear G. Singh, If an exalted Jupiter was retrograde. This would act like a debilitated planet. However, what if it's strength was very strong and placed in Pushya Nakshatram. Would it bring good results by being placed in this Jupiter owned Nakshatram? Guest guest
Own house doesn't mean exalted. So how does it become debilitated? vedic astrology, "jkumar0" <jkumar0> wrote: > > Dear G. Guest guest
Jay, It is very difficult to predict sometimes the strength of a planet. But my experience is that retrograde planets behavior is very unpredictable. I have read in many astrology books that if a retrograde planet is in a debilitated sign then it will act like an exalted planet. But if the retrograde planet is in exalted sign then it will behave like a debilitated planet. Jupiter is still with ketu and aspected by saturn. I think you should see if jupiter gives you good results after sept 27th when it enters libra. I know so many people in jupiter mahadasha, none of them are happy at this moment. I myself entered jupiter mahadasha 8 months ago. But jupiter was with ketu and aspected by saturn. I saw some improvement in last 2 weeks, but still it is not very good. Regards G. Guest guest
Namaste, I think after September it will the first time in a few years when Jupiter will be free from malefic aspects of Saturn/rahu. should be interesting to see if it will be more keen to give results. Noticeably, when Jupiter transits to Libra, it will be in mutual aspect to mangal in aries. namaste Gaurav Jain
Guest guest
I share the same experience with you. The last two weeks have definitely shown some glimpses of improvement but still it is not so good. vedic astrology, "hbk1hbk_2100" <hbk1hbk_2100> wrote: > Jay, > > It is very difficult to predict sometimes the strength of a planet. > But my experience is that retrograde planets behavior is very > unpredictable. Guest guest
While I agree with you I have the following question. Ketu entered Virgo only in February 2005. Before that Jupiter was in Virgo alone. Of course it was aspected by Saturn. But even the aspect of Saturn was not there between January 13th to May 26th 2005. So then what was the cause of these troubles? vedic astrology, "hbk1hbk_2100" <hbk1hbk_2100> wrote: > Jay, > > It is very difficult to predict sometimes the strength of a planet. > But my experience is that retrograde planets behavior is very > unpredictable. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Singh, I have read your comments on Guru, retrogression and transit with interest. (11th June,1972; 10:15AM; Cuttack, Orissa). In my chart, you will find Guru ® in Dhanu Rashi in the 5th House. I am in Guru Mahadasha and Shukra Antardasha. Since Shukra is also debilitated in transit, the going has been very oppressive. I am a Lawyer and a Vedic Astrologer, so some interesting features of Jupiter have manifested. How do you see the career progressing? When would you think that marriage in this chart would occur? What would be the features of such a marriage? Best Wishes. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna ||Namaste Gaurav Ji, You have an interesting chart with (sa) and (ju). Generally shows gains and good circles. If I may, is your work related to some sort of thinking/research, analysis? and are you working for a foreign corporation which involves export ? If my understanding is correct you can expect significantly impressive gains/respect at OR because of work in coming months after September. As for your marriage, lord of the UL in rasi is (sa) placed in 7th from it in 8th house with its co-lord Rahu both aspect it. UL itself is the second house hosting Ke. AL/UL=2/12 (Ju) aspects the 2nd house from UL which is Pisces. Incidentally, it happens to be your AL. 7th lord moon is in 10th from itself in 4th house and 7th house of cancer itself is hosting (Ju) which is in mutal aspect with Mars in lagna. In D9, (Sa) && (Ju) are placed together in 7th house with Pisces lagna and aspected by Mars. The learned tell me that exalted retro Guru tends to behave like debilitated. All these basics indicate to me that the chances of your marriage are better suited in moon dasa, with slim possibilities after sun/ketu. You may find that your wife may be bought to you via family or family involvement ( chances are arrange marriage). You may also find that there may be initial delay in sambhandha due to certain opposition to the idea by some elderly. I would suggest immediate fasting on the day lorded by your UL. Please understand that this analysis is based on my understanding only, and may or may not be correct. I am a novice @ Jyotish and any/all mistakes are purely a result of my ignorance in learning. May the Gurus and fellow jyotisha comment on this. Namaste,Gaurav Jain

Guest guest
I have seen retrograde jupiter in cancer or own sign, retrograde saturn in aquarius for example does not do very good. Retrograde planets act in a strange way. You should not feel disappointed by my comments. When the jupiter dasha comes see how you feel, then make a judgement about jupiter. Even very skilled astrologers also make mistake sometimes when they want to judge the strength of a planet. King abdullah of jordan has retrograde mercury in capricorn in his chart in 2nd house, and at present he is going through mercury mahadasha. He became king in retrograde mercury mahadasha. Regards G. Guest guest
I am currently running Jupiter Dasha since 2003. It seems to me that the previous Rahu Dasha was far better. Is this due to the retrograde Jupiter? Does it mean that the whole Dasha will be bad? Or it is just temporary due to the current position of the planets? vedic astrology, "hbk1hbk_2100" <hbk1hbk_2100> wrote: > I have seen retrograde jupiter in cancer or own sign, retrograde > saturn in aquarius for example does not do very good. Guest guest
Have you seen previously retrograde Jupiter in own house giving malefic effects? Or is it just the Saturn in Aquarius? -- In vedic astrology, "hbk1hbk_2100" <hbk1hbk_2100> wrote: > I have seen retrograde jupiter in cancer or own sign, retrograde > saturn in aquarius for example does not do very good. Guest guest
You have 6th house lord mercury, 8th house lord sun alongwith Mars in your first house aspecting your 7th house. This is not a good combination for happiness in marriage. These three planets in 1st house will cause problems for you. Also transit saturn from cancer is aspecting all these planets in your first house. Saturn is transiting your 7th house of marriage can delay matters. But saturn is your ascendant ruler, should not create any problems. Jupiter is going to enter libra sign, your 10th house from lagna and 7th house from natal moon should give success in career and marriage. See if you see any good results after september this year. If not it means retrograde jupiter is acting like a debilitated planet. G. Singh vedic astrology, "msupratik" <supratik@m...> wrote: > I am currently running Jupiter Dasha since 2003.
