Guest guest
Dear All, I invite your attention to the following statements by two true genius persons regarding the search of true knowledge. Both of them are notable statements. Chandrahari: (About Science) "Science or sastra devolves not upon a question of convincing each other. It involves a quest for improved knowledge and sharing of the same with others and carrying forward further the quest for truth. If we say an excuse that I can't convince you and you can't convince me by some logical conundrums, there the quest ends...." PVR: (About being sincere in that search) "Convincing oneself is far more important to a seeker of truth in any science than convincing others. There were many scientists in the past who were convinced of something, but could not convince their contemporaries. Their views were accepted only by later generations. Not being able to convince their contemporaries and acceptance of it did not end their quest. Their quest continued and benefited future generations." Both statements mirror the different sides of the same truth!! Give applause for both!! Both of them agree on the fact that there is no need to convince others. Both of them are of the view that we should be sincere to our-selves first. But still both of them inherently accept the fact that we should try to convince others as well. But even if we fail in convincing others, true endeavors will be accepted by the future generations!! See the coherency!! (I can't see any difference of opinion. May be my eyes are not that good!!) With warm regards to All Sreenadh.
