I did some research on this topic by studying the charts of three billionaires, and came to the following conclusion. CASE I I was studying horoscope of Michael Milken who earned 550 million dollars in jupiter's mahadasha. He is cancer ascendant and natal mars ruler of 5th and 10th house in 2nd house in leo. His natal jupiter is in virgo in third house placed in chitra, the mars nakshatra. So jupiter mahadasha gave him the fruits promised by mars, a functional benefic planet placed in the 2nd house of wealth. Jupiter made him billionaire even though it was placed in virgo, in enemy sign. I am sending you his birth details for your analysis. He has 9th house lord jupiter placed in 2nd house of wealth. Then he has both saturn and venus placed in libra in jupiter's nakshatra. His chart is very similar to mine as he is born couple of days before me. He became king in MERCURY/JUPITER/MARS period. His lagna lord is also jupiter debilitated in 2nd house with all other planets. He has exalted Mars in 2nd house and then both Jupiter and Mercury placed in Dhanistha, the Mars nakshatra. So he did very well in Mercury mahadasha and became king. After reading your notes for the past few weeks or so, I have noticed that you have been mentioning about Nakshatras' quite often. Hence I have enquired about some good books and some one has kindly suggested two books on Nakhastras. I have purchased two books by Sri ChandraKant R Bhat Ji on Nakshatras based predictions, about 2 weeks ago from India. I am almost finished reading them and I am amazed in leanring on how we can use Nakashtras in a great detail. I always like to learn new methods so that I can see the events from a different perspectives. Once I get the foundations clear on this new method based on Nakshatras, I will start applying them and wrtiting in the list, so that you and other experts in the Nakshatras can help me if I make any mistakes. Thanks for your notes, which has inspired me to enquire and get this new knowledge in Nakshatras. Most of them only discuss characteristics of nakshatras. They don't discuss how to use nakshatras to make predictions. I found the information on how to apply nakshatras in making predictions in the following books: 1. The Fascinating Jupiter by LR Chawdhri 2. Saturn a friend or foe by LR Chawdhri 3. http://home.primus.ca/~jyotish/cpjyotis.pdf Without nakshatras you can not make accurate predictions. A person may have exalted jupiter in their chart but if it is in bad nakshatra it may give malefic results. On the other side a person may have debilitated jupiter but if it in good nakshatra and strong in navamsa, it may give excellent results. You can see king abdullah of jordon has debilitated jupiter in 2nd house. But Jupiter is in dhanistha nakshatra ruled by mars the ruler of 5th house, and mars is exalted in his case. He has both jupiter and mercury in dhanistha in mars nakshatra. Mars is exalted and occupies 2nd house. He became king in MERCURY/JUPITER/MARS period on Feb 7th 1999. Regards G. He made his millions in Jupiter dasa and also suffered legal proceedings and imprisonment. Jupiter is well qualified to give these results considering that Jupiter is lord of the 9th, house of fortune and lord of sixth , house of litigation. In addition Jupiter occupies nakshatra of Mars. I agree with you -- astrologers should view the nakshatra in which the planets are posited and give due importance to them. Milken is also suffering from prostate cancer. In 1993 he established a foundation to research a cure for the disease. Yogakaraka Venus is exalted in my 2nd house. Sun is also exalted in 3rd house. I hope the Rajayoga fructifies at least to a small extent ! In Michael Milken's case the mooltrikona sign of jupiter falls in 6th house, that is why he had health problems, and imprisonment. Regards G.
