Guest guest
Dear Santhosh Most of the Shlokas of the classics can be easily seen to mean the state of affairs for "that point of time". For example, in some verses, Rishis talk about cattle, buffaloes, carts etc, which are extraploated to mean so many things today. A chauffer driven car or a sarathy driven chariot. In such cases, all we do is extraploation. Even the greatest of gurus whom you are talking about will never agree to a common point, simply because they "percieve" each and every rule according to their own mindset. Who knows Jaimini Sutras were talking about astrology alone!, may be they are talking about some spiritual secrets. It is the interpretation or rather perception of the so called Scholars that is very much distorted view that has created all this problems. one should know "where the rishis came from". The rishis were "seers" who had done tapasya for so many years, and all what they wrote was purely from "experiential point of view" rather than some bookish, knowledge point of view. I say to a child that fire burns, but unless he experiences it, how will he know it?? Similarly, unless we ourselves are spiritually evolved, and have experinced what rishis have experienced in our meditations, we can never understand what they said,. best wishes partha vedic astrology, santhosh A <santhosh_room_41> wrote: > Dear Partha Sarathy > > Really true, the verses given by rishi's is a > single approach principle, it is in the interpretation > of those verses has lead us to understand it > differently and made everbody to go on there way. This > can be corrected if our great current astology guru's > understand what the each slokas says exactly and unify > it.I know it is very difficult ,but unless it is being > done we still all able to use astology for random > intrepretations not exact prediction. > > Regards > Santhosh > > > > --- "V.Partha sarathy" <partvinu@g...> wrote: > > > Dear Santhosh > > > > That will never happen. Guest guest
Dear Partha Sarathy Yes when we mapping meaning of slokas in current era, it is still difficult. As nowadays people asking questions like will my son will do course nutrition, aerospace, chemical engineering, bio technology etc ..This doesn't have direct mapping to old slokas which basically states about details in their yuga's.So we cannot use that directly now. That is why our gurus's and we have work in doing lot of experiments with basic principles and try to unify the interpreation. Guest guest
I think that what Partha has covered is indeed a true stating of how astrology is meant to be and how it is actually taken in todays modern society. However, although the inner intuitive feeling of a person does carry much reality, when at times a person is for some reason taken through the path of astrology then that can also override the intial feeling of what the person thinks at the beginning, and what is generally given as a 'guide' or 'advice' from the astrologer can without knowing become the direction that the person subconsciously tries to undertake. For example in my case as i explained earlier, i grew up thinking i will have a wonderful married life etc....then suddenly all mythinking was forced to be changed because i was told that i would have a lot of problems. And for many years i believed this fact and was afraid to come to terms with it, and although i began to accept the fact i always began to think that i should not get married, it was a painful and depressing state of mind to be in. Because these days astrolgers words are taken at face value and normal people who do not knwo about astrology or the ancient guides do not know how to challenge the 'predictions' or indeed the guides that are given. Now in my situation i would like to seek the ideas about my chart from more than one person so that i can therefore decide what 'could' be the more realistic interpretation. As astrology tool is so powerful it has the power to change the course of a persons thinking and their direction. And this is why i would like you if possible to look at my chart and give me some direction.
