Guest guest
The purpose of astrology for thousands of years has been misunderstood if not misinterpreted. The purpose of every jeeva is to ultimately find salvation, freedom from all ties, all bondage. Like all occult practices, astrology has a divine purpose. Astrology is supposed to show what we are, and what we can be given the limitations that were created by us. Yes, all limitations, conditions are self created. Realising this is the first step to moksha or enlightenment. We are creators of our own realities and destinies. Astrology can be used as a guiding lamp, as a guidepost, as a boat to cross the river. It is helpful to know what actions created the limited experiences, and what can be done to channelise the energies for higher goals. Prediction is never made through astrology, and whoever had perpretated this thought was a not feeling aloud. Feeling aloud?! Yes, generally we think too much, and resist our god given gift of feeling. Throughout our lives, we live on others thoughts and borrowed ideas. If some body says that world will end in so and so date, we believe him, instead of what our heart says so. Heart is the best thing that God has given us. It never lies! The heart knows each and every desire of our mind. It knows what is real, what is false, what is the ultimate truth! All successful Predictions are made by intution, by the all knowing heart center, the GOD center. But we deny it, and keep on believing some vague and false ideas, till we get a heart attack. The whole point that i am driving here is that astrology can be used to know the karmic actions, and thus help ourselves to know things as they are. Once we know it, we should use our spiritual wisdom, and spiritual resources that are unbounded by planets. The spiritual strength cannot be measured, all it takes a moment to realise this. Once we realise that we are not shackled by imaginary forces, we break free.
Guest guest
Purpose of astrology, IMHO, may be stated in just one simple line, i.e., to handle uncertainty in life.
