Guest guest
Dear Arun, In Atharva Veda you can find statement that says - birth of a person in the star Moola as bad. Also there are statements about the merits of different Nakshatharas(Stellar divisions). These are enough proof for the presence of predictive astrology in Vedas. Therefore the statement "nowhere in Vedas FALIT (predictive astrology) is given" is wrong. To fix the time of Yaga one has to fix the Muhoortha. The Muhoortha becomes important only when you accept predictive astrology, because things done in improper muhoortha does not become fruitful. This is another evidence for the presence of predictive astrology in those days. Yaga is an integral part of Vedic culture, and as Astrology helps in fixing the auspicious time for Yagas, Astrology is a vedanga. Astrology of India is Vedic in nature. Astrology is vedanga means, it is an important branch of knowledge, from the far ancient period. You said that you are a student of Nadi astrology. I am interested. If you can shed some light on the fundamental principles used in different Nadi systems, I would be thankful to you. With warm regards, Sreenadh ------------------- "arun mishra" <astrologer108> wrote: > TO ALL MEMBERS > I have read the astrology is called VEDANGA also. but nowhere is > Vedas FALIT (predictive astrology) is given.
