Guest guest
Om Guruvayae Namah I have a slight doubt on Argala principles if Atmakaraka(AK) is involved. Parasara has clearly stated that AK si the king of the horoscope and that other planets cannot go against it. That being the case if AK is involved in argala or virodha argala, does it always prevail, assuming an equal number of planets say in 2 and 12 from the said bhava ? Meet your soulmate! Guest guest
Dear friend, The details regarding Aragala are not available in other astrological texts except the few cryptic verses available in the BPHS. What I have learnt from my late grandfather Shri Satyananda Tripathy,Keonjhar, Orissa. who was though an expert on the astrology - lived a selfless and honest life- giving consultations to more than thousands of people without expectation of any return from them- never went after name or popularity. His experienced views on argla I am just producing below:- (1)Argala means the role or say of a planet on the matter pertaining to other houses of planets (2)Argala and counter argala are not of the same magnitude ( no where in BPHS it has been said that argala caused by a planet in 10th house can be completely neutralised by argala caused by another planet in the 4th house- if they are in same angular distance from the point on which argala is being calculated- just it is told- they oppose each other by their nature) (3) Argala in 3,6,8,12 houses are negative in nature (4) Argala in houses ahead of a house or planet- restrict and that are behind- support or act in a persuasive way vedic astrology, Ajith <ajithk_1999> wrote: > > Om Guruvayae Namah > > I have a slight doubt on Argala principles if Atmakaraka(AK) is involved. Guest guest
Dear Ajith, In BPHS it is told that planets by being in Kendra etc. from each other become mutual karaka or significators. Based on this principle- even though the Atmakaraka may not loose out in Argala but by being mutual karaka of other planets/ karakas can behave differently ( that is like the other kakaka or planet) With regards, Srikanta vedic astrology, Ajith <ajithk_1999> wrote: > > Om Guruvayae Namah > > I have a slight doubt on Argala principles if Atmakaraka(AK) is involved. Guest guest
Dear, Argala always work, if AK is involved or not. If equal number of planets is on both sides its create bandhana Yoga where one is bounded, it can pertain to status, lagna or soul. Planets in 2,4,11 cause Argala, planets in 12,10,3 obstructs it. BHPS and JU are the source of knowledge about Argalas. with regards Rafal Gendarz - "asksrikanta" <asksrikanta <vedic astrology> Monday, August 08, 2005 10:29 AM [vedic astrology] Re: Does Atmakaraka lose out in Argala > Dear friend, > > The details regarding Aragala are not available in other astrological > texts except the few cryptic verses available in the BPHS. > > What I have learnt from my late grandfather Shri Satyananda > Tripathy,Keonjhar, Orissa. > who was though an expert on the astrology - lived a selfless and > honest life- giving consultations to more than thousands of people > without expectation of any return from them- never went after name or > popularity. > > His experienced views on argla I am just producing below:- > > (1)Argala means the role or say of a planet on the matter pertaining > to other houses of planets > > (2)Argala and counter argala are not of the same magnitude ( no where > in BPHS it has been said that argala caused by a planet in 10th house > can be completely neutralised by argala caused by another planet in > the 4th house- if they are in same angular distance from the point on > which argala is being calculated- just it is told- they oppose each > other by their nature) > > (3) Argala in 3,6,8,12 houses are negative in nature > > (4) Argala in houses ahead of a house or planet- restrict and > that are behind- support or act in a persuasive way > > > vedic astrology, Ajith <ajithk_1999> wrote: >> >> Om Guruvayae Namah >> >> I have a slight doubt on Argala principles if Atmakaraka(AK) is > involved.
