I mean to ask, to whom should we be giving preference for career related issues. The position of Moon in rasi basically represents the mind from all aspects of our life. The position of Moon in dasamsa as you know is particularly career related and the sade sati therein shows troubles from karma and profession. It is a pretty neat tool to isolate and understand Sade-Sati at an individual level (d10, d9, d12 etc). However, lot of research needs to be done in the correct application and interpretation of this tool ... I feel! 2. The rules of Arudha and the exceptions remain the same in all charts including vargas. Hope this helps. Yes, sade sati must be affecting D 10 related significations, but does it supercede the natal chart (Rasi chart's) results. I asked for arudha pada calculations in D charts, for the fact that in JHora, vrischaka lagna, and mars in 3rd house so, arudha lagna must be meena rasi, but it is showing karka. I did not cast the chart, but if in D10 Scorpio Lagna and Mars in Capricorn shd give AL in Pisces. But remember, the other co-lord of Scorpio is Ketu! It might be posited in either Virgo or Pisces in D10 for the software to show AL in Cancer, please also double-check, this must be so because JHora must have detected Ketu to be stronger than Mars! Today, I collected 7 charts (mixed bag of past few good years and troubled years) and analysed only from D 10 chart's perspective. The results were amazing. Sade Sati in D10 does affect the career significantly. In my chart too, Vrishba Rasi Moon in D 10 (sade sati just ended with saturn's movement into Karka)- I witnessed severe hammering in terms of tiring working hours, delayed results. Hopefully, now when sade sati is over, the things will start falling in place (currently saturn is Asta for sun in Cancer; once this is over..D 10 will be free from saturn's movements). I request list members to share their experience on sade sati in D 10 chart. There is need for greater research in understanding phenomena like the Sade-Sati in the Dashamsha Chakra. In this chart: 11th June, 1972; Cuttack, Orissa; 10:17 AM, the Sade- Sati in the Rashi Chakra did not allow any work at all through the duration of the Sade-Sati and then only when the Upaya as given in BPHS for the propitiation of the Dosha was done. With the abating of the Rashi Sade-Sati, it has begun in the Dashamsha Chakra along with Kantak Shani. Mercifully, though the unreasonable obstacles of the Surya-Shani-Chandra Yuti in the Rashi have all but disappeared and the tendencies to humiliation (Shani- Surya) and psychological stress (Shani-Chandra)have abated to give hints and anticipation of the Shani-Chandra Rajayoga in the 10th House. It could be that Shani is Yogakaraka in the Dashamsha Chart, placed in the 9th House in Rajayoga, or it could be that Chandra is placed in the 11th House with the D-10 Lagna Lord. Whatever it is, the Sade- Sati in D-10 is not at all of the same nature as the Rashi Sade-Sati. The Tithi Pravesha is a far more unambiguous technique to delve into current Varga and Rashi tendencies and one might wotk up to the Pratyantara Dasha level in the Tithi Ashtottari Dasha with astounding accuracy.
