In your reply you had written me saying that Dwi-saptati dasa is applicable for my chart. But, If i go through the events in my life relating with vimsottari dasa it perfectly matches. So, i am in confusion. This is as per Vimsottari dasa. (Lahari ayanamsa) 27/6/78 - 27/6/83 saturn dasa - 26/6/2000 mercury dasa - 27/6/2007 Ketu dasa - 27/6/2027 venus dasa Can you pls tell me, how will be venus dasa for me? The idea, is vimshottari is reflection of moon, and impressions to mind, and is based on Moon nakshatra, whereas , other Dasa are used if other things may dominate, for example, kendras being strong. Parasara said to view chart from whichever is stronger, lagna or Moon.So perhaps you have stronger influence having more planets in kendra to moon.
