Date of Birth:Aug 29, 1983 Time:9:15pm Place:New Delhi I'm doing Masters in Management/IT related field. However, how is Economics according to my horoscope? I gave the entrance exam for PhD twice- but failed both times(Feb 2004/Oct 2004). My third attempt is in Aug 2005. Please help. Assuming your time of birth is quite accurate, I will take Sc to be rising in your siddhamsa(D24) for education. Your 2nd House, the giver of Masters degree is having Me,Mo and Ve. Venus indicates management(People management) and Jupiter it's lord governs Planning. Mercury in 2nd gave you the Software/IT related MBA, The aspect of no malefics on 2nd house indicates you really dint do much in real hands on engineering. There is link between 7th and 2nd indicating that your Masters program will help you very much in your PHD studies. And other relations and diety I mentioned. The presence of Venus in Bhaga amsha indicates, that Aditya(sun) in form of Bhaga will be good to pursue, Since you already have some blessings from him. However change your mix of job profile in such a way that you do more of management and less of project execution, even some work related to pre sale marketing support , making proof of concept would be suitable for you. But I do not think you should get involved in economics as core competency area. That will not be suitable for you. 2) I see little chance factor for you to be successful in your PHD entrance examination in August 2005.
