I want to know: How to find the number of brothers and sisters (elder or younger) from the lagna chart of native? or from any other chart? Can we find their date of birth (of brothers and sisters, if any) from the birth chart of native, using vinshottari dasha? Can we use this to verify/rectify the time of birth? However, I know the date of birth correctly. So I contacted an astrologer in India. He told me that from my looks/behaviour, my lagna should be "pisces". And hence he drew the lagna chart. In the lagna chart, mars is in 8th house (libra) with ketu. Sat is in lagna. He explained me that since mars and saturn aspects 3rd house(taurus), I do not have any brother/sister. Hence the chart is correct. I wanted to know about it. So, can we find the number of elder/younger siblings (brother/sister) from the lagna chart? It is stated that the matters related to father can be known from the 9th house of native. We take the 9th house of native as lagna and the resulting chart is the chart of father? Is it true? I drew the birth chart of my son. And I found that my lagna chart (according to the astrologer) is not the same as the one when I take 9th house (of the lagna chart of my son) as the lagna. Please throw some light on it!! Guest guest Posted August 4, 2005 Report Share Posted August 4, 2005 Hare Krishna Dear Vibhuti, When you look at your sons chart, dotn just look at rashi, look at other planetary Influences onto that sign using rashi dristhi.FOr example, my my exhusband is libra rising,with LL in taurus with conjunction of sun, juoiter, moon. Lagna itself is aspected by Mars and then Jupiter, Sun,Venus,Moon,rashi drishti and Sat by graha drishti here are my kids 9th house. 1) Libra rising. Venus in 9th.argala from Sun, Mars. 2)Leo rising, Mars in 9th aspected , by Venus,mercury,Sun, with argala from Jupiter. 3)Libra rising , moon in 9th aspected by Venus,argala of Jupiter. In my navamsa chart, venus is in 7th aspected by all the planets except moon. Often if there are no younger siblings there will be Rahu in 3rd house. If one sibling died Ketu could be there ,etc. You can use other techniques. see where LL goes in each lagna. Often you can decide very clearly from that alone.FOr example what house has Jupiter(for pisces rising gone?) Hope that helps.
