I understand "affliction" in general sense. But would like to know what areas of my life is afflicted. I am writing to you again requesting you to tell me my chances of having children. I am married for about 6 years, yet not having children. Will I ever have? My details are : DOB : 3rd June, 1970 TOB : 21:30 (9:30 PM) Place : Calcutta, Inda I know few things about my chart, but not sure, if any of the following combinations/placements deny children? 1. 5th lord (Venus) in 6th house with Mars? 2. 8th lord (Sun) in 5th house with Moon (Waning moon as I am born on Amavasya, but is exalted and vargottama) 3. Moon/Jupiter is on 6-8 axis????? (Jupiter is vargottama, retro in raasi chart) 4. Retro Jupiter (vargottama) in 10th house 5. Rahu in 2nd house, which is 5th from Jupiter (I read online that malefics in 5th from Jupiter not good) I would greatly appreciate if any of the list members take a look at my chart and give their feedback . I am sure you must also be trying all medical helps as possible. Please continue to do that. I will do a cursory reading now and later if I get any more ideas on your chart I will write more. Analysis: In women's chart 9th house is giver of Progeny. In your chart it's Mercury. Mercury is your Atmakaaraka and it seems some deep lesson regarding children is to be learnt. Mercury in conjoined debilitated saturn hence troubling saturn in form of some obstruction maybe or Vaata related problem. In saptamsa 9th lord Mars is debilitated in 12th hence again trouble in progeny. The presense of Saptamsa Lagna lord in 8th indicates some physical trouble maybe. But, A3 and A9 in Rashi chart are in quadrant to Sun hence indicating physical troubles will not be real hurdle. But AS9 (Arudha from 9th from Sun, in this chart AL) is in 12th from Sun indicating, the sustainance of new soul inside trouble. The problem indicated by Ak being the 9th lord also indicates, the Ishta devata can help. Remedy: Saturn and Jupiter are in 12th from Ak in d9. Indicating the Ishta Devata. Since 2 planets are here, I would like you to pray to both. Worship Lord Shiva for Jupiter and Panduranga Vittala form for Vishnu's Kurma avatara for Saturn. For Jupiter, Why dont you try going to Sai baba temple. Keep reciting 4 Akshari 'Naarayana' 108 or as many times as you can to bring out Saturn from debility (It's exalted in Navamsa so not much problem). Find a suitable 10 Akshari Shiva mantra (or any Shiva mantra till that time) Wear a Blue sapphire of affordable size on your ring finger. According to Dr. Raman's '300 Important Combinations', the yoga is caused if the Sun and Moon are in the 5th Bhava from Lagna, which in your chart is the case. If one has this yoga he/she will be blessed with children. However, it is be noted that the 5th house is hemmed in by malefics on both sides. I wonder whether Jupiter's aspect on both the 4th and 6th houses is of any help. This yoga offers some hope to you. Best of luck. Can you please elaborate more on my chart with regards to marriage, profession etc. Also, I have another question....which is stronger in my chart, lagna, moon raasi or arudha lagna? Many astrologers (even before I was married) told me that I will have a son who will be very famous, except for one astrologer who said that I "might" be childless. I am running Guru mahadasa, who is functional malefic and is retro in my raasi chart. I don't know if I am in the right dasa for children? I would appreciate your further input on my chart reg. various aspects like marriage, profession, etc. Thanks.
