Guest guest
Dear Ramadas Ji, I have a question on Nakshatra Gandanta, please help me clear my understanding. Nakshatra Gandanta is seen for rising ascendent( lagna) or Moon ? I went through the following extracts from BPHS- a." Gandanta is of three kinds, namely of Tithi, Nakshatra and Lagna". b. The last two Ghatikas of Revati and first two Ghatikas of Ashvini, the last two Ghatikas of Aslesha and first two Ghatikas of Magha and the last two Ghatikas of Jyeshtha and first two Ghatikas of Mula are known, as Nakshatra Gandanta". c. The last half Ghatika of Pisces and first half Ghatika of Aries, the last half Ghatika of Cancer and first half Ghatika of Leo, the last half Ghatika of Scorpio and first half Ghatika of Sagittarius are known, as Lagna Gandanta. I guess, since lagna Gandanta is defined seperately, Nakshatra Gandanta must be a reference to Moon's constellation? mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"> Regards Raj Start your day with - make it your home page
