Chandrashekharji no more writes on this list and will never be party

to such non astrological discussions in this manner. His id is

chandrashekhar46. This Chandrashekhar is a different person.

Thank you for clarifying the matter. I am no senior astrologer. I have read only

few works. Whatever I saw in my view was parochialism. In the history I have

studied the great Universities of India have been Nalanda and Taxila of

Northern India. Aryabhta was a Bengali and he lived at Kusumpura near Patna –

ancient Nalanda. Bhaskara belonged to Maharashtra, Vateesvar in Gujarat, Utpal

in Kashmir. Kasyapa also was from Kashmir. Parasara and some 18 great

astronomers are mentioned in old astronomical works and no body is from Kerala.

Bhrgu lived near Surat in Gujarat, many like Varahamihira were from Ujjayini,

famous seat of Indian learning. King Bhoja was from modern Dhar in

Madhyapradesh. In the hills of Uttarakhand even today many savants of astrology

live and they don’t create any works for going public. Brahmagupta is the most

respected name in Indian Mathematics and he too lived in

Kashmir like Utpala. GoI published History of Indian Astronomy by Deekshit

mentions no Kerala astronomer even though he has dealt with astronomers of all

other provinces. If Utpala can be claimed as Keralite then Einstein may also be

Keralite. I am a not a senior astrologer as the kid imagines to be and claims no

scholarship. If parochialism by remaining anonymous as kid or scud is a

honorable job, then a slap for that too is honorable.

Thank you again for removing the confusion in name. Prabodh Vekhande
